Yeah he HAS to acknowledge that effort aside, the team desperately needs some youth and enthusiasm.

This season is done and dusted so he has to look towards 2025 and beyond. That means seeing which outside backs can foot it in first grade, this is a priority. The difference in speed between our guys and Titanos outside backs was so stark.

Backline, we’re slow. Like actual slow I can’t believe it.

Montoya wasn’t the worse player tonight. But something has to give.
Jazz? I’ve long had the opinion that he’s no good against the better teams, when it really matters and we can’t ambush them. So why stick with him.

Hopefully Capewell plays on Wednesday and doesn’t get picked.

Hopefully the broncos origin players don’t back up.

No different to fullback. I'd be more worried about him defending against a big winger running over the top of him. But put him up against Mariner and he should be fine

I used to (prior to this week) think you guys wanting to pick the young fellas, were mad. I'm now there. Heads have to roll. If you can't run and/or tackle, go away and get well soon and we'll see you after a hit out in reserve grade. If you were Tuapiki you'd be knocking on Webster's door asking why you're not picking a form player when the first grade team serves up a performance like this.
