Listening to this interview with Webster from a couple months ago,:

it's interesting his perspective from 5:19 on what we need to win a grand final. We just need to keep doing what we're doing but we need to do it better, faster and while under pressure, plus adding a couple of details as teams will improve after last year and the NRL will be a different beast once again.

Sounds like he was pretty disappointed watching us lose to the Broncos and then didn't enjoy watching the grand final with us not in it. How refreshing it is to have a coach know what he's doing and be so passionate about winning with the Warriors. Can't wait to see how we go in the trial games. I'm confident that no matter who turns up to play on the day that we'll play our best. Bring on the '24 season!

Some recent pictures, check out the size of Sifakula next to Pompey and Leiataua who aren’t small in the slides with Egan the first picture. He’s massive.
Sifakula must be close to fully fit from that acl!! That’s good I hope he gets heaps of first grade experience.

Pretty sure Tom Trbojevic played a similar role for NSW. Played centre but popped up all over the field & was a big success
Óthers mentioned Joey Manu.

Jamie Lyon started it....coming in from Center at will and creating space for players when he saw options.

We have a highly structured side, it makes sense to have one of our backs attacking the markers around the ball.

Otherwise with SJ being slow now (not a criticism you SJ cult members...easy now....easy...breath...) and TMM being a shovel it on 6 for most part, they have to find a spark somewhere.

Even if you replace Metcalf with TMM you are still only using a direct and conventional attack off conventional / predictable structure.
