I'm with you on this one @Wrighty

I believe he was the player of the year at the tigers in 2022. Put in effort when the rest of the team had checked out. Skillful and versatile, can't imagine him looking for elite money.
Thank you for your endorsement

66 games so plenty of experience
13 tries and 27 try assists
Not great stats but I think he is better than that.
Our pecking order would be
Metcalf
TMM
Daine
CHT

Could have been NZ that was being referred to in those "head home" articles too.
It certainly wasnt NZ.

“This feels like home now. This is my home at the moment.

“My wife is from Queensland, but she’s loving it down here. This is home for us.”

So if he is only 3rd in line, why dont we run with TMM and Metcalfe
We could but they are unlikely to get through the first ten games without one of them getting a significant injury based on their past form.
Secondly TMM and Metcalf would be rated ahead of him as the incumbents and Daine might overtake one of them by year end.

Any one interested in a 2 year deal.
Taukeiaho’s NRL return no guarantee as offer falls through
Two clubs were rumoured to be interested in the former Rooster.

Former Sydney Roosters prop Siosiua Taukeiaho's probability of an NRL return is again looking shakey after the Manly Sea Eagles reportedly pulled their contract offer off the table.

Nope, clubs are pulling the pin. Prefer a run at Leo or someone who won’t be a flash in the pan signing

Do you know what you just said????
He has been in the nrl and proven as a player,so how does that make him a flash in the pan ??? he would be cheap and could do the job.
Put your glasses on and have a proper read.
I'm not saying he will be the greatest ever buy but he can do the job

- article states he wants 500k per season and multi year deal
- for a player not wanted by superleague clubs
- will be 33 in January
- we have decent forwards coming up. id rather have faith in zyon.
- squad salary cap is heavily skewed towards forwards already. IF we have 500k available, it could be better spent in the halves/backs.

Hes dreaming if he thinks he can get 500k per year and a multi year deal in the NRL after not being wanted in superleague at age 33.

Interesting seeing that article about Fa’alogo, more so that the storm are wanting to extend Papenhuyzen. I presumed back when they signed Fa’alogo to the length of his contract that they had wanted to shift Papenhuyzen on, and with him announcing he’s going to market in November. Makes me dream on further about Hughes and the amount of fullbacks that the storm have shifted into the halves. Munster, Hughes to name two. The conspiracy theorist in me says that Fa’alogo could be in their plans at fullback, Munster to halfback and Papenhuyzen to five eighth?

Nobody is reading this thread right now.
