Actual Titans fan here (can you believe it we actually exist? lol), Tanah Boyd's problem isn't that he was behind a non-dominant pack (not even accurate) and didn't have time to work with.. his problem is that he's deer-in-the-headlights literally every single time he has stepped onto the park, as a result has neglected his running game if he even had one in the first place, no real long-kicking game, and his short kicking game isn't much better, and just doesn't have the vision to resort to any secondary attacking option if he can't get his kick away. Tackles okay though I guess.

I think his best value is as an experienced play-making backup 9/maybe plays some 14, he's more suited to a hooker role than the halves anyway. I reckon you'd be better off grabbing Tommy Weaver and hiding him behind JFH and co.

Also, while i'm here, someone tell Webby to please feel free to go ahead and secure your centre depth by acquiring Brian Kelly, he's a monster talent if you squint really hard and would be a huge asset to your footy club ;)
I know you thrashed us this year but how about you have a mid tier pack at best then. Likely more accurate and might make you feel better.

Titans in for Ben Hunt?

While you're here can you tell us how we became your bitches this year, how did you put 66 on us in that game from your pov?
Anyway it sets up a good rivalry with you guys for future Anzac games after that humiliation, still have nightmares about it.

If you read the rest of this thread you would see that all the negatives you mention don't worry others on here because Boyd can kick goals. (except for last year which was 70%, but other years....)

It would be a disaster. We would spit him out before Origin

Not to rain on his parade but this has been a longer time coming.

Titans have beaten us 6 of the last 8.

They are our bogey team.

Melbourne are no longer our bogey team, that is some other type of nightmare

We've got too many slow geriatrics and they've got too many rookie speedsters, surely we can come to some mutually beneficial trade arrangements. In our favour there's always the lure of escaping the goldy to get to Auckand.

The Puru extension at the sharks is an interesting one for me - not counting Hynes (i don't think he's a half) their squad now has 3 other players who can play half at more than a decent clip, with him, Atkinson and Trindall. ... that's got to mean some movment there too right? - assuming Hynes is a starter as a 6 or a 1

Anyway I really would not be surprised if we're not looking at any one else for next year ... and I'm okay with that if we have the game plan to support those who get the spots ... but yeah, beyond next year, it really has tp be a massive develpment work on for us

Saw an interesting post on the eels forum yesterday that mentioned Gutherson as one of the last at the eels who were close with Brad Arthurs. They mentioned that when he goes, the only one left that was close to him will be Dylan Brown. I could see Ryles potentially letting Brown go if he doesn’t want to be there. Really think he’d be ideal for 2026

Has been the case for a little while now - would be a good pick up for a SL club and an NRL club too as a squad player . Does this mean we’ll promote a rookie or look elsewhere for 2025?
If we are trying to offload Bunty, I would think its almost certain we are looking to sign one of the bigs going to market.

Often clubs hold at least one spot for a mid season signing. NRL rules say we must have 24 top 30 players signed by 1 November. 28 by Monday prior to round 1 and 30 by 30 June.

All of these 2026 signings.
It isnt even 2025 yet
A lot can happen in 12 months (as we have seen already)
Had me scratching my head every year
