Wasn't he player of the year?

Part of being a development club I guess is that you will lose players from your system often. You should never lose someone you want to keep though...

Can only hope there are not whispers emanating through about how hard it is to crack first grade for the Warriors.

From the outside looking in at the moment we have no idea at all how to blood juniors sadly.
Maybe they should get you on as a consultant, so you can tell them how to blood juniors

I believe Webby knows how to blood juniors into first grade, would of learnt it at Penrith.
IMO he's holding off til the first crop of juniors come through the Cappy/Webby development system which is still about 3 - 4 years away..
It probably explains why the bulk of our aging experienced 1st graders contracts expire end of 25 onwards.
Having said all that, injuries/suspensions has forced him into selecting young fellas outside of the new system.. who to me some have done a good job so far..

At 16? He’s still minimum 2 years away, probably 3-4.

At the Warriors 5 years+ away, going by when we bring our current juniors through.
It's a shame because I really liked that matts spine and would have loved to see them come up together.

It should have been Thompson, Patterson, and Ratcliffe all the way through.

When you think of the amount of footy Cleary and Luai played together before making the nrl.

I k ow you can't keep them all but after that championship was won I would of sat those guys down and layed out that sort of plan.

I’m worried we are going to lose a lot of our best juniors to Gus and the Dogs. Gus loves a warrior junior and feels like they won’t get a good run here until they are about 24 where other clubs wil play them from 18-20 years old.
Galvin is going well at the tigers for a 18 year old half. He would be waiting another 4 years at least to play here other than 5 mins of injury cover.
