Okay, so 6 out of 7 of their tries are down our right edge - Niukore, Metcalf, Berry by the looks of it - particularly that 4th one has Niukore really not covering the inside at all ... there has to be a change there
Will get torched for it, but I think we would have been better sticking with the team that played tigers. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but Kosi’s size would have been handy for carries without JFH and I think I like Leiataua better on the right. Not saying that wins us the game and if the plan is Berry on the right and Leiataua on the left, then might as well start now with both healthy but I’m not sure that was the game to bring Berry back. In saying that we would have been one try less

I felt Ford deserved his sin bin because it was cynical. Paps may have been well away from the ball but it was cynical and definitely a professional foul.

For all Ford's fuck ups in this game he is our dog in the fight so I am standing by him. He must be on minimum wage and given how much he is paid he is pretty good all things considered. If we wanted to replace him with a better player that other player would come with a higher price tag.

As I said pre game
If you don’t move up on Storm
You’ll get wasted
We let them run at will and allowed them to run at us
Instead of moving up
Cuddles web pressure on going to get worse if u keep picking same players

We had one. He went to the Sharks.
Mate we got two beasts in the ranks

Demitric single handily ripped the ball from Grants hands on the try line

Leka powered his way to scoring that try with 3 guys on top of him 😘

Bunty finally finding his inner beast mode. We need that coach trust inspire and feed these boys more minutes and set plays close to the line. They are an unstoppable force

All brute strength on display

not today, but he had a good handful of games last year that eclipse LM attacking output this year, and has been killing reggies.
not saying for a second that he’s the answer, but LM has only shown glimpses.

my question is; given the same amount of time, who would be the best fit.
chanel has been the better half for the most part of this season so far i think. and that’s saying something.
Anyone but the bloke who won’t be here next year

I think we were always going to lose but our tactics were fucked.

"Let's take it to the Storm."
"Let's play the Warriors brand"
"Let's turn down 2 points in the first minute of the game because we don't fear the Storm".

In essence we psyched ourselves out against them and thought we really had to take it to them instead of just playing our process.

2) I am close to hopping off the metcalf train. My main reason is that he was trying to play dinner suit rugby league. Slowly jogging around and dishing it off to various forwards who were standing still. Please execute at high speed Luke. You need to inject pace even if you are just going to pass it to the second receiverr.
Too much catch and pass. Doesn't engage the line first unless he is running it for himself.
The telling parts for me are that Barney throwing a cut out pass, Clark putting in the grubber and TT with his looked better than our 7. But this is what we are going with and best we get used to the learn on the job aspect. Can't help but wonder how fast the learning will be. Not seeing the better kicking game, the organisation or the willingness to take the game on like we have been sold on.

100% he’s a talent and a kind kid, but no young australian superstar in the making from anywhere in australia, let alone somewhere on the coast wants to be based in fucking penrose man. what a shithole.

the best we can do is either home gown or dudes who’ve killed it and want to come home, sadly.

Last year I had a great couple of days,
But what does last year mean to this one?

I'm figuratively Pissed! it didn't help when Fish went early. Ford's send off was a Big "WTF!" after Met'carve fantastically stopped a probable try. Seeing the replay I thought Paps was in line for an Oscar but then Jackson shouldn't of let his team mates down like that, Footy smarts dude, selfish, Selfish play. First half had me in "WTF is Happening Here?" vibe... Glass Half Full I Am but Fu(k^n 'ell!

Second half, Leka scores and straight away my moko sez "We're gonna Win this!" It was an adrenalin hint of a come-back and I sooooo wanted to believe 'em, haha!
I'm beating 'em up, Jackson Ford, but that Play The Ball near the try line there when we were rollin' was pathetic! School-Boy Error and it was gutting that the bolts scored with their next set. Laban in against the ponies next weekend, JF to train "PTB drills" the next 2 fu(k^n Weeks! Sorry mate, you Are better than that.

I'd really like to see Leiataua back at #3 and Berry over to #4. Dunno why but, I'd just like to see it happen. Will watch the replay again, we were just outsmarted in that first, Hough!

Anyhow, Up the Wahs, Try Enjoy your week Everybody. (y);)

Demetric is a Fonua - Blake in the making. Did you also see him fold Utoikamanu?! & there is no comparison to Leka for me, He is just Leka the Wrecker superstar in the making !
Until Webby the stubborn kient gives them more time. We've stuck with dads army starting.

I only mentioned Addin as along with his power & strength. His motor is incredible! Our young bulls don't have that Addin engine yet. But they'll get there.

I have hope for young Bishop Neal too. What a weapon he is. Huge, Fast & poweful...Altho, He seems to get the Eli Katoa(Warrior Version)treatment on here. Members calling him assorts of names. Useless, Can't tackle , Big for nothing....isn't he still a kid like 17 or something? Lol.
I still believe that kid will be as good if not better than our current crop of young stars. If we can persevere & have patience with this kid.

All happened pretty quick but was Vaimauga hit high when he went for that Erin Clark grubber to score and lost it? He stayed down and finally went off with Erin Clark blowing up at the ref when he left the field

Best part of the game was watching these two and Bunty. I could not take my eyes off them every time they were on the screen. Man crush on full alert 😂

Biggest let down was Capewell - some really rubbish passes and play from him. Looks like an old man out there.

Ford was another huge disappointment. Webby needs to make these senior blokes accountable. They let the team down.
