It was good to get some of the guys who didn't play last week in the side.

Guys like Ford, Ale, CHT.

I've seen some of them listed as being injured.

We already have a few injury issues with Berry, DWZ. Boyd hasn't been seen this year and Pompey has been scratched from the All Stars.

We have a few injuries in our outside backs. The guys today looked good.

It was good to see Leiataua look comfortable when we moving the ball to our right. He fit in the plays well. At full strength Webster likely would have went with Berry on the right so I'd assume Leiataua may have played on the left. Hopefully it is a case of him performing well and owning his position that Berry needs to earn his slot back.

Ieremia-Toeava has some involvements in our scoring plays as well.

Let's hope RTS works out on the wing. Some nice work today.

It wasn't mentioned in the commentary. I am thinking he went off for a cut.

I thought he got cut. I saw him grab his head coming out of the tackle a few minutes before he went off. I thought I saw a glimpse of something on his head before he got up.

A game last night the side left a guy on after a head knock. Trials with unlimited interchange it would be best to be cautious. Take advantage of the unlimited interchange.

I like the selection of Tuaupiki on the wing. Especially if he is in line to play there round 1. It would have been tempting to leave him at fullback.

Moving him gives him some time on the wing if he is being considered to cover DWZ. It also gave the opportunity to give more game time to CHT and Martin.

Martin looked good at fullback. He played well there for Brisbane before he came here. Depending on how things go during the season it might be worth considering.

Not talking about the obvious young players that played well.
Ale I thought was really good on D and attack, hope we don't lose him.
If Clarke plays like he did today without the niggle and over playing his hand, he'll be a better pickup than I thought.
The young outside backs that came on in the 2nd half didn't fill me with any confidence at all.

That Storm player clutching his head was taken off immediately. NRL clamping down on milking?

TT has some genuine pace off the mark and some good footwork, I'd still like to see him progress at fb

I thought Niukore looked better this week. Hopefully last years form was down to the injury issues early in the season.

Clark looks like he will add a lot starting at 13 before Walker comes on.

Halasima had some nice touches.

Yep, Niukore looked fit. Was hitting the line hard and received some good ball as well.

It is only a trial so you need to be careful as some years you can win your trials and look great and the season ends up being a long one. Some seasons the trials are terrible and the side plays well.

The main thing is there was an improvement in the two games.

I'm a bit more confident going into the Vegas game. I still think it will be tough but we look to be playing a bit freer than last year and some of the young guys are looking good.

Well you would think that Walker comes into 13 around 25 min mark after the early exchanges.

Does Clark move to prop, assuming that Walker is coming on for JFH or Barnett? Im interested to see how Webster uses our bench this year.

Leka ironed out a very tough Wishart. Loved it. CNK and n centres TMM at fullback, year he player there at Broncos was exceptional. Link up with young beast Ali crucial. Laban, JFH, Barney will all be on plane to Vegas too.
