Being generous, Drinkwater probably costs us 10 more tries over a year than CNK would.

Id hazard a guess he would also beat CNKs tries and try assists by more than 10.

Also another point is that Cowboys conceded 200 points more than us, so Drinkwater likely had another 30-40 tries that he would have had to try and save over what our fullback had to, so in theory if he's in a better defensive team, his frailties are less prominent

Just from the eye test. Drinky is a shocking defender one on one. No heart at all. I rate him as a attacking weapon tho. I just can't get excited at having a backline of - Drinkwater at FB. DWZ, AKP Wings & Pompey & Charnze in the centres.

There will be more holes opening than kardashian legs at NBA All Stars Weekend.

People commenting about his fitness and explosive runs but he lacks out and out endurance. That's why you don't play him in the middle as a prop and play him on an edge. If he turns out to be a star it will be on an edge. I will be a little annoyed if he turns into a star as it seems very obvious with his explosive power, pace and ability he has the potential to be a gamebreaking edge backrower, yet we persisted with him as a prop.

Assuming you're right and he is a backrower. Which of our current NSW cup backrowers would you put him infront of? Because personally i see more out of Fatialofa, EIT and Laban. 2 of which are 2+ years younger than him and the other being 1 year younger. Plus now we have another one with Gannon. IMO if he was to be a great backrower and a alright middle then we moved on the right guy.

Storm is interesting- he started there and if memory serves me he was meant to be the replacement for slater but got injured and papi took his chance.
U would imagine they’re gonna back fa’alogo but who knows.

Ya Fa'alogo, Warbrick and Coates, they do have a lot of money right now. Wishful thinking but all Queensland teams have great FB and we seem to be the only one looking for a FB this year?

Drinkwater would be a massive get, I've mentioned earlier how I think he could be that missing piece that Webby was alluding to.

Is there anybody in the NRL right now, that we could sign for 500-700k that would have a bigger impact on our team than Drinkwater?

A ball playing fullback with great attack....I personally don't think there's anyone better.
Our team also suits him imo, as his big issue around defence should be reduced somewhat by signing with a stronger defensive unit like us.
