Re: Drinkwater, believe it when I see it, they would be crazy to let him go and I cannot see it happening but you never know I guess Payton might try anything to save his job and buy himself more time, might try gut the team and use the rebuild to buy him a couple more years.

Slightly left field but what could be a nod to an exciting future, Adidas are the new official sponsor of the Sydney Roosters.
This is pretty big news that Adidas they have dived into rugby league. The commercial opportunities they offer up for on field and (importantly) off field is huge.
Respectfully to Dynasty, they would be a dream partner for the Warriors too

Followed the Warriors and gone the matching shorts route. Some of their fans aren’t keen but only for the matching shorts reason I think? Jersey looks good with the 3 stripes down the side

Lot of fans of clubs seem to be fairly approving of dynasty’s work and the jerseys they’re making for teams from what I’ve seen
Just got to add to the drinky chat, he was in the Melbourne system the year slater retired and lost out to Hughes who from memory didnt go the best at fullback.
I think he really struggles with the organisation and defence so wouldn’t be surprised to see him moved on considering the hole the cowboys are in at the moment. Special attacker but not sure if he makes up for the lack of defence.
Payton wouldnt be able to walk the streets without security if that happened

I have a couple of friends who played with him and they don’t like him and their wives hate him- arrogant pig was a term thrown around.
I was actually glad when he dogged as- dodged a bullet I reckon.
Still, even I was feeling a bit sorry for him reading the cowboys forum- he’s gonna need a huge start to the year- they reckon the clubs given him 4 games (the equivalent to our bluey round 6 I guess).

At 25 I think he has his best in front of him and what he’s doing is decent
