Personally i think Webby would have been very disappointed with that performance. The gap is bigger than we expected

Sure, there were some nice touches here and there, but it’s an 80min game.

All it takes is one opportunity and the good teams (are the dolphins a good nrl team??) will bury you..

I think he, just like myself would have hoped for a better performance at least from our future halves…

Anyway top 4 is such a huge incredible acheivement for our club, we've given ourselves the best chance with that extra life. Panthers are the Everest of challengers but damn......just imagine if we could go over there and knock those bastards off?

If that happens we need a statue at Te Papa of SJ and Addin embracing on the mountaintop like Tenzing and Hillary.

The score line was ok we didn’t get thrashed so we lost no. Momentum
No one is in front of the judiciary tomorrow
Is niukore unscathed after the match or injured ?
It was an awesome outcome for us in which we had little to gain in the match

At first I was worried that tmm needed to play alongside Johnson to practice the combination. But it actually worked out better without sj there ad tmm got lots more touches

Tmm was rusty but will be better for the run

Ok the two debutants I thought Going was magnificent and showed real promise
I though young roache was nervous and had a below average outing
A silly penalty from trying to hard and he had hard hands when distributing the ball
That is ok he will be better next time

Sironen was awful

Tmm did ignite the left edge for Montoya end to end try that the whole pub erupted for

Bit harsh on Siro.
Hard for any player to get excited about the game when you don't have much hanging on it.
Hard for Webster to motivate when he's playing a second grade type team for the game.
Niukore was quiet but looking to avoid suspension going into finals with his history.
Others also wary of HIAs and the repercussions.
Nothing unexpected IMO.

TMM made a lot of mistakes but I think that's the most I have seen Pompey and Montoya get good early ball for a long time. He'll be a lot better for the run and with the full strength team.

Also on reflection, that was against a full strength Dolphins, we had 7(seven) regular starters rested.

Now imagine the Dolphins with 7 regular starters rested...100% we thrash them.

Bang on. Individually there were some decent performances but just so clunky and out of sync which the Phins offloading style of play troubled us with.

Those vets coming back in won’t give a shit about that one.

Yeah phins weren't worried about losing.

And when you play carefree and things come off its all good. If it doesn't not dice then too. Because it doesn't matter.

credit to the boys though. They showed glimpses and put some. Solid shots on.

Ok, was at the game. Awesome atmosphere!!!!!
Not sure if it has been said already but I think the game plan needed to change. Every kick went down our right side to Bostock whom was solid but we should have been going down the left hand side. Te Whare looked gassed after 15 - 20 minutes in the first half and was even worse in the second half.
