some odd team lists throughout the round too - the sharks played without a specialist half yesterday (cam mcinness played a pivot role, and they won 44 - 0 ) and I see that the broncos have sailor and mozer on the same bench - you hardly ever see specialist backs on the bench especially when you have hooker cover there too
NZR are doing a sterling job of screwing everything up. Don't think they need any pollie's help.
As to SJ, as a senior player, he should have his word trusted if he says he's ready to go...Not seeing any bad care or any conspiracy in tomorrow's absence.

I like to hear out all the conspiracy theorists and keep an open mind Wrighty, but in this case I'm pretty sure there's nothing weird going on in the shadow realm with SJ's injury. Come out of the rabbit hole and give your head a wobble @Inruin
Oh well, it is what is now. Just hasnt been our season for a number of reasons. Best of luck. I hope we at least put up a good showing and who knows, may even jag a win.
I see both sides to the SJ argument, but I guess Webby is dammed if he does, dammed if he doesnt. In hindsight seems like a week in NSW cup may have helped our players and team.

Reality is SJ’s injury disruption has cost us the season.
Wester planned the season around SJ and realistically we needed him firing to have the best chance if we made the finals so had to try to get him back. But the follow up disruption has wrecked combinations and.
He’s one player we couldn’t afford to have a disrupted season and our results have reflected his disrupted season.

I'm ok with the plan. It makes sense on the back of last season. Can't get on board with the initial continuation of playing him injured (and Tohu) and the disruption bringing him back after the Cowboys game.
