Well we all know what happens when the Wah's get the woulda shoulda coulda.
Little bit less PTSD after the Dolphins game considering I predicted the occasion would over cook us like an Anzac game in Melbourne. Back, Monkey etc.

Us by a few with AFB having the game of the century. We go through the front door today and leave it hanging on the hinges.

Bookies still favouring Cowboys, I'm reasonably confident though. Cowboys are no slouches, but I think most of our issues were down to injuries/exhaustion and we really lost all of those games bar the dragons by 1 try or less. Apart from missing SJ we've got every reason to win today.

Yeah I often look at the TAB odds and get a bit annoyed when were seen as the outsiders, but it gives me great confidence that for our past 6 games the TAB would have got every one of our games wrong (bar the Roosters).

V Eagles - Warriors favourite
V Dragons - Warriors favourite
V Titans - Warriors favourite
V Roosters - Roosters favorites
V Panthers - Penny favourites
V Dolphins - Fins favourite

So based on that we should be sweet haha

Both teams put in really solid performances their last game......hard one to pick really.....pending on the day and how they turn up i guess. At some point momentums going to be with one side or the other.....who handles that better could determine the outcome.

Definitely not a forgone conclusion this one for me.

Defense has to be really tight: cowboys games are generally shoot outs. If we can outmuscle them like we did last year in townsville and control field position, I back our D to keep them to a reasonable score. They will give us plenty of chances: their previous two games before last week were against the bottom two teams (Souths and Tigers) and they still conceded 22 and 28 pts respectively.

Strangely I feel more uncomfortable with the players back than the last couple of games. Add in the bye just as we had some momentum and I'm more than a little nervous for this one
100% with you. I’m strangely pessimistic. I really hope the boys will prove me wrong. I’m just not feeling the 10-17 that Webbys picked, in the order that he’s picked them.

I can see JT owning Ford, our 2nd row getting outworked, and our bench getting out muscled. As always however, I’m backing the boys to find a way. We just as easily could click and run up a score.

I hope we move Ford back to an edge and one of the big boys in the middle

I reckon Capewell will start

Niukore will come off the bench for impact

Barney will have a huge game even better than Addin who also will be amazing.

Lussick will be on the bench at Jazz's expense after Billy showed you have to expect your Walshy to get his head taken off. So Freddy is our Cobbo.

There's no reason for us to act like we are on fire. We ground out our last two victories and had hideous casualties.

Strangely enough I'm happy with Ford in the middle. Barney on an edge and interchanging them for managing replacements. My lack of confidence will be in Tohu and Capewell being of koro status now but at least they've had some recovery time which could help.

But even with left field or non confidence building selections we still have the bones of a good shot at this game.

A few more chores to do before kick off and I'll amp up accordingly as the day progresses.
