On a side note, I'm sure I wasn't the only one deeply traumatised by "the incident". I keep picturing that football gently bouncing off of Chad Townsend's head... Absolutely horrific. I think it even messed up his hair.

That will haunt my dreams for the rest of my days.
LOL, nice. Chad didn't even know what happened. He got up and walked away, nonchalant, haha. Both him, Vailea and Todd P knew... that they'd fu^k)d up.

So glad to see the returning players kept up the standards of the rookies, next man up. I had a lot of fear how we’d aim up, we were immense and to be honest I don’t think we got out of 2nd gear.

I’ve been a big critic of Pompey, but how does RTS get back in? NSW Cup are going to be hard to beat now we have a lot of cattle back. TMM has been a fkn revelation the last 3 games. 4 try assists ? BOOM !!!

I still think he's the best HB we have at the club, his running game, kicking game, off the cuff play, still puts ahead for mine
Can we also not forget his defence. He reads defences and tackles better. Lucky Martin had some brutes in Nuikore & Barney covering for him. As well as Walker.
I did want TMM & Harris-Tavita to start next game. Then realised we're playing Melbourne. And our defence needs to be twice as good as it was tonight. So maybe SJ & CHT start this one? TMM on the bench. CHT /Jazz/Walker can cover 9. Melbourne are ruthless at attacking your weakest defensive player. TMM is that for us.

Webster said in the press conference that there would be a place in the team for all three of SJ, TMM and CHT - guaranteed.

He seemed positively surprised about what TMM can do, which means to me that we are going to see a much more equitable relationship between SJ and TMM going forward., that is super exciting because the opposition won't know what's coming at them compared to the predictability of the first half of the season. Remember too that SJ will have Niukore next door, which will be huge.

Webby also said how hard AFB has worked at being a team mate the last two weeks.

Great stuff all around.

Thats one area SJ has certainly stepped up in over the last couple of years, not sure it's enough to have TMM on the bench, CHT excells in that role, if TMM can get his head around controlling our left side we'll be fine

I agree bro. Just hope the Storm don't target him & break him lol. If his bodyguards(Barney & Nuikore) do a good job protecting him he'll be fine.

I thought TMM defended great. That tackle he made on Finefeuiaki that injured his shoulder had to be made or he was gone. Actually think SJ’s defence has been sub par in his time this season falling off some tackles, but hard to know what was due to his injury?

Nah, Most his tackles were weak sauce. He doesn't like the contact. Real timid. SJ always puts his body on the line. TMM is our attacking genius right now. And i applaud how he is playing. I don't want him dropped. I just want to be cautious when we play the big teams and Melbourne are top of the table. They will target him. I'm just concerned. Not hating on him. Not at all.

Apart from TMM having a better tackle efficiency this year than SJ? Concerns that the top teams will target him? We have just played the Panthers, Dolphins and Cowboys and TMM has been very good defensively and a big work rate. I think you are off the mark with the defence call. I also think carrying TMM on the bench after the last three games showing how we should have our bench used is funny, but each to their own.
