Do you feel like this could be one of the most important games in our 30 year history and potentially the defining victory of the Webolution? Or are we just making up lore as we go along?
Let's be real, Broncos aren't the benchmark this year. They are in the same category as the sharks: an edge 8 team that will be making up the numbers come finals time. So I wouldn't place any special importance to this win other than it being another 2 pts. I'll place much more import if we end up doing the dogs in Sydney later in the year.

Don't know about that, I have this game highlighted as a make or break in the context of a top 4 finish. Not many bigger challenges than Brisbane at Suncorp, if we lose they probably go on to finish higher than us, so it is our benchmark.

I disagree. Storm in Melbourne, Canberra in Canberra and Dogs at Accor are must tougher tests this year. Broncs have already lost to many mid teams this year like rabbits, dragons, manly. We even beat them at full strength with essentially a cup team back in round 7. So beating Brisbane again won't amount to a big scalp or a litmus test for us as you are making out. It is just another game we should win if we are genuine this year.

As for game stakes, this game means much more to them than it does for us. They have to beat us to have any hope for pushing for the 4. But even then, we'd be 4 pts ahead of them heading into our final bye. Then we have the easier draw to end the season. Broncs have a much tougher end to the draw. Baring an epic collapse, we'd still be odds on to make the 4 even if we lose this game.
