Luke Hanson might stay. Jett might debut this season.

TMM is our Boyd replacement and Hanson can be the CHT replacement if something happens to him. I think that will work just fine.

So much noise over Cirraldo for so long. Everyone wanted him, it was the Ciraldo sweepstakes, media was going nuts. Then we quietly got Webby. I don't know if I would want anyone else now. I use to dream of Bellamy or Ivan. Perhaps Ivan is better, but apart from Ivan, I don't know of another coach who suits us more. Webby's honour, attitude, humility. He's definitely much better than Cirraldo. He is the perfect coach for the Warriors , I think.

It helps that Adam O'Brian isn't our attack coach and Gus Gould isn't selecting our teams every week.

Yeah, there will need to be some ego managing with Metcalf for sure. 4th string half will definitely not go down well.

At the end of the day TMM may or may not be the better 7 for us this year, but he is undoubtedly a better 20 due to his versatility.

Maybe unpopular opinion but I want TMM not Metcalf. I don't think it is right that a guy who wanted to have a sook walks straight into a top 2 team without wanting to earn that right. Like Boyd, TMM is a team player. He knows he is second fiddle now to whoever (Boyd, mets and CHT) but he's happy to play that role and come and do a job gladly. Probably because TMM is closer to the end, but at this moment we just need a solid game managing 7, not an X factor as the Aussies seem to always emphasize. That is TMM, not Mets.

I think that TMM is perhaps the perfect half with all our weapons. I mean what do you do? Leave Leka one on one with a half on the line? Who can handle Ali steaming onto the ball one on one. Then you have Erins ball playing stressing the middles and keeping the defense tight which puts more pressure on the edge defenses decision making. This is where TMM is ranked number one in our team as a half, his short ball playing is probably the best in the team however he has the worst kicking game. Hard call for next week, it probably doesn't really matter because its the dragons however.

I would be surprised if TMM is not named as halfback next week. Metcalf will be in the 20 maybe.

Just a pet peeve: I don't like our players diving but I understand the tactics behind. But for us fans it is just too stressful thinking that the player is suffering a massive long-term injury. I had my hand in my mouth when Taine went for a snooze to get a penalty in the first half. I perished the thought of having to move DWZ to FB and shifting Leka or Capes to center against Walsh, Reynolds and Mam.

It was good seeing CHT nails those kicks. The conversion for one of the ties was a pretty tricky kick.

He got a lot of stick a few years ago for missing a pretty simple kick. He may not have been practicing at that time. Or there may have been other things going on.

He is a better kicker than that. He wasn't too bad before his break in 2023.

Glad to see him nail some good kicks tonight.
