After watching Penny and dogs last night, this is not our year. both are a cut above where we are at the mo.

It's wrong to read too much into any one game, whether it is the penrith/dogs game or our loss last week. Only a few weeks ago many were predicting that Penrith couldn't make the 8 and that the sharks were a genuine premiership contender before we smoked them. We'll lift when the time comes. This is the most open premiership race in years. We are as good a chance as any in the top 4.

We only need to win 2 'one off' games to make the GF. If we finish in the top 2, both of those might be at Mt Smart. Once we make the GF, anything is possible.

Yeah, said it elsewhere - the game last night was a great watch, but if you coldly look at how each were going about their business there was a lot which wasn't championship winning footy, they were throwing everything at eachother and were evenly matched, so an intense game, but the absolute standard wasn't as high as say the raiders or the storm have reached this year ... leaving judgement of us aside cos i can't be fully objective about 'we we're at', but i believe we've got a lot left to give yet
