That isn't the reason we lost though.

You're right Damo, I don't think I insinuated that was the case tho?

All I'm saying is, wouldn't it be better to plan a bench with the intention of using the best resources you have to get a win, as opposed to using 25% of the bench as a 'just incase', which in this instance didn't help us to the win anyways?

Berry can be covered by switching Capewell to centre in-game, while all our other outside backs - Pomps, Roger, CNK and Edwardo are all fully fit. Imo it's worth the risk playing without TMM

Looked at the roar nrl picks
You following the expert who embarrassingly said the following:

“The Raiders will beat the Knights and I’m going to tip the Warriors at home against a resurgent Broncos side.

I’ve tipped the Warriors because they’re at home and they’re due. Their season has been a little up and down but the effort hasn’t dropped, and with a good crowd behind them, I think they’ll lift.”

Correct statement. Suncorp is the Warriors second home.

i know its the NRL and every game matters, but metcalf played longer than he should have (didnt have a choice) on that bum leg last week and got the bye next week.

T.Boyd was a broncos junior, he'd be fizzing for a go, and that boot is pretty accurate. Those little bits of motivation are good for a team over a long season, "big game for tanah tonight in front of his family, don't be flat like last week yous fullas"

or metcalf is ok and just plays as per usual, we are usually up for games at suncorp anyway

Broncos aren't back ..... yet. They've beaten the worst team in the comp and an out of sorts sharks team that is looking more like an edge 8 team than a contender. IMO the sharks lost that game more than the Broncs won that. Any half decent side with a strong defensive base would have closed that game out last week. Broncos should have counted themselves lucky that Nicho is shitting the bed big time atm for the sharks. Giving up and trying to milk the obstruction penalty instead of actually defending that game equalling try by Nicho was the biggest brain explosion I've seen all year.

We have been the kryptonite all year for teams that play an open style but have soft underbellies. We win this by turning the game into a grind, like our last Suncorp game against the Phins. Do what we did earlier on in the year: go ape on Haas and Carrigan, control the offloads and slow down the ruck. Relentless defensive pressure over 80 minutes and we can activate the idiot genes that are currently dormant inside Walsh and Mam. That's how we got them at Mt Smart 3 months ago.

We've been winning these type of games all year, so I think we will get them again. I hope we do so to shut up all the hype around the broncs. They are the most overrated team in the comp for sure. They've made the finals once in the last 5 years with their supposedly amazing roster. Hardly the resume of a premiership powerhouse.

Probably the strongest team we have named for a while.
I would also like to see Boyd or TMM in and Metcalf get his legs right.
After watching Penny and dogs last night, this is not our year. both are a cut above where we are at the mo.
thar said we should have enough to get the Dub against the broncs
Anything can happen in the finals, in a one-off match. Not writing off the warriors reaching the final.
