If I recall the Anzac Day match last year against the Storm he scored a try straight through basically shimmying past defenders at ease. I couldn't believe it.

We struck early 12:0, they got one back, then AFB blew through the front door to make it 18:6, the ref sent Dylan to the bin and we still scored 22:12, all signs of us winning, then we got 4 injuries and ref/bunker cheated twice to get them home

Fuck everything else that's happening with the team, this guy needs some heavy debating.

I can't help but feel he's been toxic in the environment for whatever reason, and I have a theory that its he and SJ that could be locking horns.

SJ is no stranger as a halfback to bark orders at players and pull up guys that he deems not putting in.

Now I would bet my whole house AFB would be a guy, especially when already with a foot out the door, would tell SJ where to go.

Obviously this is my hunch but to me it's these two that are the reason the team is not pulling.

I bet Tohu is just trying to keep the guys close, but it's gone.

For me I would cut AFB from this team asap! And would ask him to leave.

if that’s the case, and i think you may well be right. i’d be keeping AFB on the books but letting him go be with his family.
get the poison away from the playing group.

I noticed after a couple of the later try’s afb walking straight over to tohu- I couldn’t hear what he was saying but I have studied a bit of body language and id be willing to bet it was along the lines of “these kients are farking hopeless “

I honestly don't think this guy is the issue. Him and the club worked out an early release and he committed to this season. He has been awesome for the majority of it, carrying us in a number of games IMO it seems to me that there is more a feeling of being let down by some key players in the team and possibly the coaches selections and tactics. I don't think he wants to leave here unsuccessful but can see that chance of us doing something this year slipping further and further away, all while being away from his family that he wanted to be closer to
