bro if he gets released and it is what hes after, when her brownie business in oz is up and running i'm giving so many bad reviews online. "Shit tastes toxic asf like the baker"
This 100%, and RLPA should have no issue with this.
I wouldn't be mad if he was allowed to train with the Sharks to keep up his fitness but no way should he be allowed to play this season if he leaves. Not only unfair to us but the rest of the competition.
In an ideal world if his personal circumstances are so bad he has to move back to Sydney asap then he should have to forfeit a decent percent of his remaining contract to go on extended leave for the rest of the season. Off course the RLPA would never let this happen.
Damn shame one of our greatest ever against all odds victories will now be remembered for afb having a sook.
Can’t be too critical without knowing the facts but obviously very disappointing from a fans perspective- and just when it looked like we were turning a corner and could make a run home.
Hopefully on reflection he can see how much he’s let the boys down here and comes back with a fire in his belly but tbh I won’t be surprised if his played his last game for the club.
Apparently we do know the facts though! As per his manager, he was disappointed in his performance so he packed a shit.
If they are going to release a statement then they have to stand behind it. All this talk of mental health and family issues is speculation which goes against his teams statement. Therefor we do actually know the facts
I didn't choose the scrotum life, the scrotum life chose me. Would have preferred to be Shaun Johnson's ball bag but the position was already taken sadly.
Probably overthinking it, but wonder if AFB and Capewell don’t get on? Capewell is the other player with some unrest surrounding him, though his partner unhappy apparently

Think some people need to stop pouring petrol onto the fire and making assumptions. Having read some of the previous posts, blaming his wife, mental health issues. We’ve all had bad days at work and not want to be around work colleagues at a present moment. I know I have. We may never know the real truth in what happened but starting rumours and making assumptions amongst yourselves is a very dangerous game to play.
Dangerous for who and why??
No ones accusing him of doing drugs on a live stream like some other clubs
Anyone in the public eye has a standard to uphold. If you don’t hold to those standards all scrutiny comes with a grain of salt until HE fronts up to the media and explains himself.
So hard when everything becomes PR spin, from the club to AFB to his management. If he sees the year out it would suck for it to be up in the air the whole time

Sure. And our obligation as an arm chair critics is to speculate on his actions and lack of. I believe his actions are not from bad cookies but continual personal problems affecting his mental health. I’ve been in his dark place before and it’s not pretty. Cause and effect.
Doesn’t mean he gets a pass on his behaviour but at least we understand why. If he’s doing this deliberately to sabotage his career here and get an early release then that’s a total dog act.
I don't know the personal details of Addin's release but, if it were for an ill parent who may have recently been diagnosed terminal I wouldn't begrudge him for his behavior at this time..
No matter how talented someone is, and how valuable to our club, this is a mess. He’s dragging the club & taking the piss. He re-signed, then requested a release, and is now throwing his toys. He has a history of this with manly early release. He’s in the top 10 earners in the competition, and unfortunately this is now tainting his legacy.
I love him as a player, but this guys morals & character are in the gutter. If he is released, all the positive things he’s done for the club are instantly forgotten.
How you conduct yourself as a person, regardless of adversities represents your character. Not only was he granted an early release, twice (manly, warriors), he’s now throwing his toys because he doesn’t get his way.
No matter the talent, this guy has so many red flags, I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole. All the best sharks, you’ve just inherited one of the most toxic (and talented), players in the competition. Don’t the let door hit you on the way out.

I agree if he is doing this to sabotage his career then it’s a dog. But his manager states that’s not the case. My issue is that everyone is speculating about what’s happening with no clear evidence. That’s what I have a problem with. Calling his mental health and his wife in the equation which to me is non of our business. I get that we are passionate about our team but we need to know where and when we’ve crossed the line.
