For arterial roads, these crashes were further filtered to identify only those crashes that occurred between the hours of 08:25 and 08:55 and 14:55 and 1515 on weekdays

We literally have three white male COs of HMNZS Canterbury, Aotearoa and Te Mana.

Physical standards have been lowered for gender yes, they have also been lowered for age for both genders.

i’m all for public transport and all for people walking and cycling but this whole thorndon quay debacle is a shit show. almost nobody uses it. (don’t let there lime scooter stats they keep saying are cyclists fool you. i run thorndon quay to oriental bay and back 2-3x a week. it’s always dead empty)
it’s a wind tunnel and for those who dont live in wellington, it’s almost unusable for more than half the year due to wind and rain.

oh and nevermind it all having to be ripped up again soon enough anyway….

Not sure how this is relevant, there are Standard Operating Procedures that are followed to the letter for every evolution. Regardless of gender.
I suspect there were multiple factors involved that caused this as I genuinely don't understand how it happened.
