It's what they are NOT saying that gives the topic oxygen.

They literally have PR staff manage how the public responds to this situation.
Thats why I agree with you. There will be millions being spent every year of your taxpayer money on public affairs officers and yes even intelligence staff to manage the NZDF image and reupation. The fact they are doing so poorly, speaks to even more incompetence.

Nelson lost the odd ship but came out ok. Let's hope this doesn't turn into another Admiral Byng episode. ;)

the government, like Frank, is at war with science and fact

Why do you continue to @ me with this rubbish? You dont even read this dog shit. Their entire premise is based on only counting crashes that occur during school drop off, not during the school day. Also; Auckland Transport commissioned Flow Transportation Specialists. Thats called corruption and neo liberalism isnt it? Handing off a lucrative consulting contract to a political lobby group, all for them to give you the answer you want.

For arterial roads, these crashes were further filtered to identify only those crashes that occurred between the hours of 08:25 and 08:55 and 14:55 and 1515 on weekdays

All I've seen is jokes and trolling about female drivers on social media, have you heard any intel on the cause of the failure and whether there's any actual connection to diversity policies?
Her position is 100% a DEI policy, as for the crash no. But its doing rounds.

Not necessarily due to a DEI policy.

CDR Gray has 20 years plus experience between the RN and RNZN, was the CO of the Mine Counter Measures Team and was the Fleet Executive Officer of the Maritime Operational Evaluation Team that literally assesses the competency of our fleet. She was and is a highly competent Warfare Officer and had already spent nearly two unblemished years as CO of HMNZS Manawanui before this incident.
To suggest she is not in her current role due to her competency or ahead of others due to gender is incorrect.

Weird how you don’t see these incidents and then there’s multiple ones. Pretty sure a ferry hit the dock in Picton today too. Then there’s the recent issues with the boats that were to be replaced but now not so. Are the staff onboard competent in your view?

The chances of an individual white male making it all the to captain a boat in the NZDF are so vanishingly remote, that the fact that a lesbian female achieved the goal would suggest that it is fact a DEI hire. I can unequivocally attest that military standards have been lowered so women can make the bar. Not just physical standards, but performance ones too.

Not saying the accident was her fault though, thats a whole separate kettle of fish.

We literally have three white male COs of HMNZS Canterbury, Aotearoa and Te Mana.

Physical standards have been lowered for gender yes, they have also been lowered for age for both genders.

this will be a bad one.
the amount of restaurants and cafes they supply is huge.

thank god for bike lanes like this that you have to ride kilometers on the road to join on this one then back onto the road anyway.
it does nothing but take away customer access and carparks from businesses.

i’m all for public transport and all for people walking and cycling but this whole thorndon quay debacle is a shit show. almost nobody uses it. (don’t let there lime scooter stats they keep saying are cyclists fool you. i run thorndon quay to oriental bay and back 2-3x a week. it’s always dead empty)
it’s a wind tunnel and for those who dont live in wellington, it’s almost unusable for more than half the year due to wind and rain.

oh and nevermind it all having to be ripped up again soon enough anyway….

and then who in their right mind do the council expect are going to lease the space on thorndon quay when no one can get to it without walking 15 minutes in sideways rain?
