Smarter not harder mate :)

And people claiming superannuation shouldn’t be lecturing on productivity🤣

Bit of a cheap shot
Bit of a cheap shot
You don’t claim Nz super
You get it automatically at 65
No income or asset testing
See the second sentence
You don’t claim it you get it
Did you ever pay the tax rates boomers did in the 70 s and 80 s
Part of the high tax deal was the govco pension at 65 or possibly lower earlier
I could be rude and ask how much tax you pay
Prob sfa

I’ll give you a pass though because you still work 😉

I wasn't lecturing on productivity just reminding you about your obsession.
I remember a boss from many years ago saying to a bloke like you.
"You always have an answer. Shifty bastard ".
Appropriate I think. 😉 😜

Just joking about superannuation. Everyone should get it and it shouldn’t be asset tested.

I personally pay enough tax to support a few superannuations.

Actually don’t have an issue with paying tax or trying to overly minimise what we pay. Gotta have good health, education, police, etc.

Annoying though when they up the tax rates and provide worse services. If our govt was efficient, effective and got value for money there would be a lot less grumbles!

I am going to be ever grateful for your input into my superannuation funds.
Cheers mate.
When I was younger and trying to get a start in life I was amazed by how much taxes I had to pay.
Come to think about it some of that would have been towards your upbringing and education and health and wellness services
Funny thing about life we reap what we sow.

I was paying 49 per cent on thirty per cent of my salary in 1990
That was in Aus
End of that year went back to Nz for 17 years.

Technically if we’re paying the top 39% tax rate in NZ and then paying 15% GST when we spend it, we’re paying 54% tax on our high income here.

And if we’re buying petrol which is about half tax it’s actually about 70% tax on that dollar earned and spent!

The true cost to government of each litre of petrol sold is about $8 - so $10/;itre would be a fair price if it was user pays.*
