While Trump may have issued directives before January 6 to prepare for potential unrest, he did not personally authorize the National Guard deployment during the riot itself. That decision appears to have been made by other officials, notably Vice President Pence, after initial resistance from Trump.

You cant post an AI response and then make a credibility critique. 😂

I haven’t made the the claim that DT deployed NG during the 6th. Although as it would have been under Title 10 or Title 32, the Pres is the ultimate authority.

Only State Active Duty gives a governor the right to deploy NG and that’s usually alway natural disasters.

Why do you think he's doing this now with the NG in the capital district, is it performative or a genuine response to the crime rate?
