As expected the heavy hitters coming out to play - just need to see if @Wrighty is going to divide his time between SC & the inferior fantasy version he’s coordinating. He reckons there needs to be more banter from us to get him interested…

I haven’t played Fantasy however @tajhay reckons SC is superior.

There are similarities but SuperCoach is more focused on attacking stats (and you get points for more areas) where fantasy seems more rewarding of defensive players. That's my take anyway.

SC is better than NRL Fantasy. If you had to choose one, this would be it.

Surely @Wrighty is not so new to league anymore that he can try the connect four SuperCoach as well as the noughts and crosses fantasy?

I would only ever do one, SC takes up enough of my time by itself.

What's the go with this new flex player? Is it essentially you pick a 17 and an 18th man. And the top 17 of the 18 is your score for the round?

Correct, the main reason they’ve introduced it is to reduce the impact of an early game HIA or injury, so take a bit of the luck out of it. The big decision to make is how to use it.

I'm keen to give it another go. Playing this and Fantasy for the first time last year I enjoyed both, but can say without bias that I found Supercoach slightly more enjoyable in that with it being very attack based you can see quite easily during games when the points are accumulating.
