Guilty of the latter, just couldn’t see it as I was looking for a game manager, honestly thought Boyd would be a superior 7 and Lukey should be at 6.

Put simply, I was wrong.

That hurt. 😂

Part of being in a forum is having discussions, so please keep sharing them.

My comment was more a thinly veiled excuse to make a joke about being married.

I enjoy the back and forth of differing perspectives.

I was in the camp that thought TMM to 7 & LM to 6 was our best option.
After Vegas I said we would be in for a very long hard season.

Glad to be proven wrong. :D

I am happy to say I was wrong. Webby was right. Only in recent weeks have I been able to accept CHT as the right choice at 6. Webby's base for the whole game of rugby league is defense. Everything flows from that for Webby, and I am learning he is right.

The part about being married is so true.
I asked my wife the other day why she never argues back with me when we have a disagreement.
Her answer was that she just goes & cleans the toilet.
I said "how does that help?"

She said I use your toothbrush. ;)

Oh for sure.

I guess I was more getting at the vibes. You know when you just see things coming right for a team. All the pieces fall into place, all the players just look like they're on another level.

Injuries don't really affect them all that much. Media doesn't affect them. They are locked in and on the same frequency.

Everyone at the club is operating at peak levels at the minute, which I've NEVER seen before (Bare in mind I wasn't around for 2002)
The club as a whole is operating at a vastly higher level than 2002.

the Pathways
Committed Stable Ownership (although Watson was good in the early days)
the PR / Communication / Socials
the Match Day

It's hard to believe...

Yeah it is 2002 I was hoping for some continued excellence but it was a one off, a great team we had then though but
It really does look like our foundations are setup nicely here.

Ale can play lock/prop just fine.

The club isn't going out to try loan a player after one middle injury, that's legit comical mate.
Holy hostility batman. It was just a suggestion that makes sense to me for the reasons I said.

PS edited in later we only have 28 of 30 positions filled so let's make use of our available spots and unspent cap (which I suspect from Dylan Walker leaving and Tohu retiring will be material)

Decent discussion about us at the twelve minute mark.

Nice for Aussie media to talk about us first then do the what is wrong with the Sharks discussion after actually talking about the Warriors.

Always happens
Never about how good we are
Always how poorly opposition were!
Keep winning
Forget the ladder
We ain’t the only team winning
Long way folks
Calm it all down
Don’t build our guys up too early
One small step for mankind
Or wateva 😵😵👏👏
