Well it should be about equivalent remuneration regardless of gender, not whatever that name and shame report is claiming. "Tool for promoting an a gender", Roberts was on a roll.

You can say that flippers pay tax until your blue in the face Mike but it doesn’t support the CGT agenda so he will be posting the same misinformation again next month…Because they’re a business (“in the trade”), they would pay tax on the income in the same way a shop would pay tax on their sales. Because they flip the houses before the sale is finalized, they would get caught up by the Brightline requirements.
If in New Zealand woman get paid less for doing the same job to the same standard as men then surely, in this Neoliberal environment we find ourselves in, businesses would hire more women and increase their profits accordingly?Well it should be about equivalent remuneration regardless of gender, not whatever that name and shame report is claiming. "Tool for promoting an a gender", Roberts was on a roll.
Which then raises some interesting points….. will a CGT require flippers to pay tax twice…. The new CGT and the existing income tax (from the Brightline requirements)? You can say that flippers pay tax until your blue in the face Mike but it doesn’t support the CGT agenda so he will be posting the same misinformation again next month…
Hmm, maybe they do in the care and rest home industries? Why don't more men step up to do home help and wipe asses? If in New Zealand woman get paid less for doing the same job to the same standard as men then surely, in this Neoliberal environment we find ourselves in, businesses would hire more women and increase their profits accordingly?
That's a schemozzle alright, but on the other hand, why should a cleaner who gets up at 4am to do 12 hours manual labour subsidise a garbo? The fall out from this bullshit is massive. Birmingham has to pay nearly 1B to cleaners who sued to get paid as much as sanitation workers. So the pay went down for sanitation workers to pay out the regular council cleaners. So they guy who gets up at 4am and does a 12hr manual labor shift has to subsise the part time cleaner. The result? Not enough sanitation workers and the ones that are there are on strike. Garbage is piling up which is a human health hazard.
They dont, that's the entire point. Council cleaners are the ones mopping floors, during business hours...That's a schemozzle alright, but on the other hand, why should a cleaner who gets up at 4am to do 12 hours manual labour subsidise a garbo?
Still don't see why they shouldn't get the same as garbos, what's the difference what time they start? Aside from the council's budget constraints. They dont, that's the entire point. Council cleaners are the ones mopping floors, during business hours...
Physical ability.Still don't see why they shouldn't get the same as garbos, what's the difference what time they start? Aside from the council's budget constraints.
Ok you answered my previous questionSanitation is up there with utility linemen for all weather, all hours, physical work.
What if Gladys is a league player doing a rubbish run for fitness? What if Gladys is a league player keeping fit mopping floors and vacuuming? Ever been on the end of an industrial floor polisher? You work up a sweat mate.Physical ability.
Gladys can wipe down a counter for 4hrs a day, she cant hoist waste onto a truck for 12...
Supply and demand isn’t it?What if Gladys is a league player doing a rubbish run for fitness? What if Gladys is a league player keeping fit mopping floors and vacuuming? Ever been on the end of an industrial floor polisher? You work up a sweat mate.
Not sure if we're talking about gender pay gaps or equitable industry wages now, employers still can't breach the equal pay act as Muddogz saidSupply and demand isn’t it?
Why should a bank CEO earn more than me running my small business?
It isn’t really fair is it? I want my pay equity and I want it now!
Quite a few studies done on why women tend to lean more towards the nurturing and care fieldsHmm, maybe they do in the care and rest home industries? Why don't more men step up to do home help and wipe asses?
Yeah it's an interesting side question. Spent a bit of time in dementia wards with my alzheimic mother. The elderly men often prefer toileting etc to be done by a male aide, rather than a female, but it's hard to get men to fill the positions, the shit wages don't help.Quite a few studies done on why women tend to lean more towards the nurturing and care fields
So would it be fair to pay the men more due to being more in demand? Male teachers?Yeah it's an interesting side question. Spent a bit of time in dementia wards with my alzheimic mother. Good point, maybe it would. What a minefield. So would it be fair to pay the men more due to being more in demand? Male teachers?
I'll run that question by my wife, sometimes she can look at things rationally and logically. More likely to get 20 fucken whacks though. So would it be fair to pay the men more due to being more in demand? Male teachers?
