Oh man don't make me Capewell's only supporter on the site I used to be really down on him 4 o5 5 years ago as when he played for top tier teams he was ever so slightly a hungus. Eg on the 4th tackle (not the last tackle) he would chip and chase for himself to run on to and yes it would come off and what a great gutsy call the commentators would say but why is a forward doing chip and chase anyway. He liked to express himself too much.
I am going to say a swear word here and the moderators have asked me to do so with caution as it is family web site but I think it is called for to make my point well.
Capewell has a case of and is developing a case of I-don't-give-a-fuck-itis
He is a very good player and if the team turns around he will turn into a big asset Don't give up on him .His attitude will rise on and fall like the Dow Jones Index based upon where we sit in the ladder. Aim high and plan to win and he will come on board.
You’ve reinforced my decision.

Don’t want players like that. Part of the problem, not the solution…

in the Warriors/Marata's last 4 games his stats are

totals ---- avg
218mins - 54.5mins
24 runs - 6 runs
200m - 50m
89 pcm - 22.25pcm
6 missed tackles - 1.25 mt
The stats back up the eye test, he is mud.
2nd row is our biggest problem because Capewell typically builds into a season and gets good around origin, so for half the year he is mud too.

I would put Laban and Ford in second row and bring Leka in for a stint. Would prefer Leka starting but that won't happen

Yeah it crazy that we have a cheap 80min tacklebot backrower in Ford but he’s at prop for 2 expensive 55min tacklebot backrowers.

We lost the ruck. Our play the ball speed was shit and they were lying all over us because they were dominating, our halves are never going to win us the game if we don't have ruck parity, they are too bang average for that.
We lost the ruck but our play the ball speed was quicker than theirs. We were as good if not better in a few stats, but badly at the wrong end on the scoreboard

This game was really deflating. As things have gone on it is becoming more disappointing hearing like the club (players, coaching staff, management) got sucked into the Vegas night life.

Hopefully we see a big turn around next week. They should be motivated.

Still not confident. If we don't see an improvement it is going to be a long year.

If we'd won we probably wouldn't have heard or cared about half the stuff coming out, it's just compounding. I don't think it's that hard of a fix tbh.
