Sorry, Metcalf and TMM are the next Luai and Cleary 😂
Luai and Galvin are rated the top halves pairing despite never playing together. Cleary and Talagi rated top 5 despite Talagi not settled on a position yet. Potential for sure, but anyone’s guess at the moment. TMM and Metcalf could definitely be a good duo, but Hughes/Munster and Moses/Brown are easily on paper the strongest pairing

Only two wingers in a team at time, so an array is unlikely but centres are a threat too. Not going to score many long distance tries but Leiataua was showing some real promise by season’s end and Pompey and Berry can hold onto a ball close to the line well
I think from memory we scored 90 tries, 74 from the backline, 17 were from our halves so 57 from our outside backs 1-5

In the prolific category you would put DWZ. I think RTS should be an improvement on MM. Add Ali who seems to score regularly.

And that's in a fairly average performing team in a poor season.

I still think 2026 is our shot, as long as the right pieces are put into place in the 2025 season.
I tend to agree, building season 24 and 25 (honestly 23 should have been a flop season) with some signs of improvement in 24 from the covid years.

I think the stats show us as a good team I’ve felt like this year we showed more moments of being a top4 side, just let down by lapses were we looked like wooden spooners

Was great to hear Webster mention in a recent interview about them employing a mental skills coach. Seems like they’ve identified areas that they can use some outside expertise

We have no hope in 2025 as we have one or two stars who are not performing who will be selected all year. Those stars are not signed for 2026. I would be more hopeful of 2026 being our year if we announced a signing or two in the spine for 2026.

Tough to bet against the storm. If panthers pull it off again, losing the players they have over the past few years, they truly are a powerhouse

I think there is more reason for optimism than pessimism.

CNK should hopefully be injury free and back to his best. We have a great back up in TT if he isn't.

RTS and DWZ on the wings are fine and gives us positional coverage.

Ali is x factor and Pompey or Berry are solid enough

TMM and LM are an exciting prospect particularly if TMM captures his form at 7 this year and LM continues where he finished this season.

Forward pack looks strong. Tohu back injury free and JFH inspiration.

A few ifs in there but the main issues will be defensive improvement (in our control), number of injuries (out of our control) and AWs improvement as a coach, which he seems to be saying the right things.

Top 8 looks achievable with an outside chance of the top 4.

Not 100% sure on positions, but overall I agree
