Everyone is going to be talking about this and that player they have, how their team is balance and has flair.
But look at this pack. This pack will intimidate all other packs in the comp. Big huge and skillful are all of them.
Then you've got a halves pairing that have at the time of writing this, 7 premierships in a row (Luai 4, Cronk 3 (1 Storm, 2 Chooks)).
These two will run riot with the front foot ball the pack creates.
The backline has everything you want, speed, flair, skill and magic.

Literally, this team has Magic.

Wizards Demolition Squad

1 - M. Ridge 92 kg - intensity (on steroids)
2 - M. Vatuvei 112 kg - beast, boxer
3 - M. Meninga 107 kg - immortal
4 - J. Hodges 98kg - boxer
5 - S. Radradra 100 kg - strength & power
6 - G. ‘Wiz’ Freeman 83 kg - intensity!
7 - S. Jones 82 kg - best kiwi player ever!
8 - P. Harrogan 111 kg - enforcer
9 - M. Betham 94 kg - boxer
10 - R. Wiki 104 kg - enforcer (ask Soliola)
11 - S. Thaiday 112 kg - enforcer
12 - B. Thorn 116 kg - enforcer
13 - H. McGahan 100kgs - ball play!

14- C. Murray 96 kg - speed
15 - M. Taupau 111 kg - strongman
16 - P. Gallen 104 kg - boxer
17 - R Tuivasa-Sheck 96 kg - elite back cover

Whatever the outcome, the opposition that play us will be battered, bruised and broken. It's right there in the name: Demolition Squad. The name encapsulates our values: competitive, uncompromising, intensity, and intimidating — focusing on Kiwis and Indigenous Australians.

My team is built from some of the hardest players in the game including Gallen, Hodges, Betham, Thaiday, and Vatuvei, all of whom have boxed competitively. With enforcers galore, the teams natural mongrel is led by Harrogan and Betham (who was once regarded as the most feared fighter in the league). These are big, rough and tough battlers who know how to dominate.

We will break the opposition into submission — pure physical domination. If you’ve never been sent off in a game, you don’t belong in the Demolition Squad. I expect at least one player to be sent off every game, using whatever means necessary to assert control and dominance. The first half will be a grind, but as the opposition tires, my big men will steamroll them, with Meninga, Vatuvei, and McGahan feasting off the back of the little general.

Every member of the team is a powerhouse, with the average player weight at 101.16 kg, built specifically to wear down and overwhelm the opposition. My second rowers are huge 110kg+ battering rams on a seek and destroy mission for the opposition halves. Meninga is one of only three immortals in the game — an unstoppable force.

Give ‘em a taste of Kiwi! Led by the greatest Kiwi halves of their respective generation, our all-Kiwi spine (and lock) is a statement in itself for a Kiwi forum. Wiki, the most capped Kiwi of all time; Manu, the Kiwis' all-time top try-scorer, this team is dripping with leadership and full of kiwi captains. Ridge from Rotorua providing a personal touch.

Defensively, we boast one of the biggest—and arguably the best—defensive lineups in the game. Offensively, we have clinical halves, huge powerful backs, and a back row more than capable of smashing through and exploiting gaps. This is ⭐️Wizards Demolition Squad⭐.

I love the balance of this side.
The pack is a perfect mix of super consistent work horses and absolute lunatics.
It has arguably the best spine and certainly the best halves combination.
The outside backs are stacked with freak centers and the perfect balance (there’s that word again) of the silky smooth skills of Rogers and the power game of To’o who’s carried his team out of the backfield for four straight premierships.
Inglis is the forth golden boot winner in a backline the likes of which the worlds never seen.
Having everyone playing in their preferred positions gives this side a distinct advantage over some of its rivals.
The bench is powerhouse and the cherry on top the Luxury of carrying this years dally m and the only kiwi 7 to ever win a premiership- Jerome Hughes.
Captained by the immortal “king”Wally Lewis.

The Fuckwits

1. Tom Trbojevic $1.279m
2. Israel Folau $1.078m
3. Steve Rogers $838k (Black Sheep)
4. Ellery Hanley $918k
5. Lote Tuqiri $750k
6. Brett Kenny $1.940m
7. Ricky Stuart $4.350m
8. Steve Price $748k
9. Steve Walters $1.108m
10. Payne Haas $1.159m
11. Stephen Kearney $300k
12. Gavin Miller $100k (Black Sheep)
13. Brad Fittler $1.658m

14. Benny Elias $100k (Black Sheep)
15. Joe Tapine $100k (Black Sheep)
16. James Graham $712k
17. Jake Trbojevic $100k (Black Sheep)

Beginning at fullback, Dally M record breaking champion Tommy Turbo, one of the most gifted attacking weapons ever & runner up in the 2021 Manly Corso sprint classic.

Two monsters on the wing capable of out leaping anyone & racking up big running metres. Unfortunately also two traitors to our great game & therefore the first two genuine fuckwits of the Fuckwits - Lote Tuqiri & Israel Instagram Folau

The Prince of Centres, the late great Steve Rogers, teams up with the original Black Pearl & arguably the greatest player ever to come out of Great Britain, Ellery Hanley in the 3 & 4 jumpers. No fuckwits here, just pure class.

A match made in heaven in the halves with the peerless long passing & kicking game of Ricky Stuart combining perfectly with the brilliant running game of the man knocking on the door of immortality, big game genius, Brett Kenny. The odd head butt aside, Bert’s a genuine good guy & Sticky’s no fuckwit, he’s just misunderstood, & anyone who disagrees is a weak gutted dog!

Has there ever been a player better suited to the role of the modern day lock than Freddy Fittler? The short answer is NO. Youngest ever player to tour with the Kangaroos & another knocking on the door of immortality… however that 2002 grand final performance also makes him a fuckwit.

45 tests for the Kiwis & spear tackle specialist Stephen Kearney plays second row alongside one of the most skilful forwards ever to play the game, Gavin Miller. You might ask how is it possible that Miller, an attacking juggernaut who won 2 consecutive Dally M medals, only represented Australia twice & NSW 5 times? Simple - he was an out-and-out fuckwit.

Up front is the man already being talked about as potentially the greatest prop of all time, & spawn of two genuine fuckwits, Payne Haas. Alongside him in the trenches is Warriors legend & pokie machine champion Steve Price MNZM. These two champions are supported by a trio of fuckwits off the bench - Joseph ‘gets his wife to do his dirty work’ Tapine, James ‘ear bitter’ Graham & Jake ‘smiles too much to be sincere’ Trbojevic.

Rounding out the team are soul mates Steve Boxhead Walters & Back Door Benny Elias. Easily the most potent hooking combo in the history of rugby league… just don’t mention 89 or these hall of famers could blow up deluxe!

The Fuckwits are competitive as hell & ready to fuck over anyone that stands in the way of their path to glory.

The Champions of Champions

Every player in every team has played to the highest level, representing their country, at least once. This is just the facts of the competition and the criteria that was set. So, how do you then next judge them? In my opinion it’s very simple. Individual accolades are great, and many have them, but have these players tasted the ultimate premiership success at club level? Have they made their teams better and given them a premiership trophy or in some cases premiership trophies. The only team that can boast this across every single player is this one, The Champions of Champions.

As strong as the opposition teams are, they all have many weaknesses, and I could go through and highlight every single one of them. From players who have never managed to win a premiership, to players that when selected for higher honours are played out of position simply because there is a better player in their favoured position, to players who, well, I could go on.

But when it comes to The Champions of Champions you really can’t find a weakness. It is the best team in the competition. It is the strongest right across the 1-17. Every single one of them are, deservedly, Champions.

The outside backs are the most lethal in the competition. At the back we have 2 time premiership winning, receiving multiple individual awards including 4 time DallyM Fullback of the Year and Player of the Year, James Tedesco. On the wings we have two of the best of all time with 2 time premiership winner Brett Morris and 4 time premiership winner Wendall Sailor. In the centres, two of the most gifted, well balanced, skilful athletes you will ever see play the game – 4 time premiership winning Steve Renouf and dual international, premiership winning Michael O’Connor. The backline has the perfect combination of speed, skill, strength, flair and an unmatched combined tally of 697 premiership tries. It is understandable why they are referenced as the most lethal in the competition. Unstoppable. Champions.

In the halves we have two of the silkiest playmakers and game managers you could want. At five eighth, the main player behind the Raiders dynasty of the late 80’s and early 90’s, 3 time premiership winner Laurie Daley. No other team can genuinely boast royalty amongst their ranks. And while some may try and claim the crown by calling themselves the King, we are the only ones that legitimately can. We literally have a Prince. Scott Prince. Not only did he lead the Tigers to a premiership, let that sink in for a minute, he also did what the supposed King couldn’t do, making the Gold Coast competitive, leading them to the finals for the first time in their history, and ultimately, one win away from a Grand Final appearance. Champions.

What can I add about the forward pack that you aren’t able to see just by reading their names. They say it all starts up front, and we have two of the absolute greats of the game In Shane Webke and Petero Civoniceva to lay the platform. At hooker, a genuine 80 minute player, the prototype for the modern game and top two of all time, Danny Buderus. In the back row, hard man Adrian Morley partners with his fellow premiership winning clubman and points scoring machine, Craig Fitzgibbon. And just to put the icing on the cake, weighing in at one hundred and fifteen kilos, standing one hundred and ninety one centimetres tall, locking it all down, a true powerhouse, the Tongan force of nature, Jason T A U M A L O L O.

On the bench we have Mr Versatile Luke Lewis who covers everything from the outside backs through to lock. Providing huge impact against tiring defense we have an absolute beast, Judith Collins is his number one fan, Noel ‘Crusher’ Cleal. To back up the starting props off the bench, making a formidable rotation, we have kiwi captain Roy Asotasi, and joining him is the player with the second biggest forehead in the game, just behind Felise Kaufusi, Nate Myles. Champions.

Plenty may try and claim differently, but the reality is as follows. No team can dominate them. No team can outscore them. No team can beat them. No team can better their premiership credentials.

Boasting 34 premiership titles in the toughest league competition between them. It's easy to skip over that number so here is what that looks like visually.

🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Not only a team of champions, but a champion team.

The Champions of Champions.

My team is a powerhouse, built with a perfect balance of experience, skill, and versatility. The team features legendary players such as Darren Lockyer, Daly Cherry-Evans, and Andrew Ettingshausen, all of whom are known for their leadership, playmaking ability, and clutch performances. With players like Brett Stewart, Dean Bell, Valentine Holnes and Darius Boyd in the backline, the team is equipped with speed, finesse, and try-scoring potential. The combination of Sonny Bill Williams' explosive athleticism and the defensive prowess of Simon Mannering and Bradley Clyde ensures that both attack and defense are covered with world-class talent.

In the front row, Matt Scott, Blocker Roach, and Paul Rauhihi provide the physical presence and work ethic to dominate in the middle of the field. Meanwhile, the dynamic Angus Crichton and Tawera Nikau offer mobility and aggression off the bench, ensuring that the team will be well-balanced both in defense and attack. Damian Cook and Craig Gower add an element of speed and creativity at hooker, completing a team that not only possesses individual brilliance but also the ability to operate cohesively as a unit. This squad has the tactical nous, physicality, and raw talent to outplay any opponent, making it a formidable force in any competition.

15. Addin Fonua-Blake
16. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
17. Frank 'The Tank' Pritchard

The Beanflickers RLFC would like to congratulate Cces Cces on pulling together our inaugural side, one which would be capable of creating a Rugby League dynasty, in such a short frame of time. This announcement is tinged with some sadness however as we also announce his resignation as he feels he has failed in his ultimate goal of creating the strongest side amongst Wrighty Wrighty's Black Sheep competitors. Top 3 perhaps, but as a result of some erratic contract negotiations, not the 2024/25 champions.

Working backwards from the front row the side has the propping pair of Lazarus & Todd who combined to help the Raiders win back to back NSWRL titles alongside another man in the #9 who also achieved 2 competition wins in consecutive seasons and whose talents are criminally overlooked due to the exploits of his twin & older brother. Lazarus will captain the side & Todd will run the teams Social Commitee to ensure there's a great work/life balance.
The Second Row consists of two of the toughest & hardest working Anglo-Saxon's to have ever played the game. Fearless line runners with no regards to their own safety and who have the workrate, speed & nous to shut down even the most well timed sweep plays of the opposition from the inside. Rounding out the backrow is the only man to win 5 Dally M Lock of the Year awards & he achieved that feat in just a 5 year period. In the unlikely event that the opposition break the line he's got them covered.

The man who's outstanding talents prompted Darren Lockyer's positional switch will don the #1. Karmichael Hunt will make sure that every set on the back of a kick return has forward momentum by launching himself into the kick chase line & will ice any 3 on 2 situation in good field position. Carry 2 of any set will be from Anthony Minichiello & he'll utilize his incredible strength, honed from years of gymnastics, to keep the defensive line back peddling to help create opportunities that Chicka Ferguson will convert into points 99 times out of 100 as a result of his speed & evasiveness. The last pass for the numerous tries that this team will score will be thrown by Stephen Crichton &/or Jamie Lyon. Such is the skill level of these two they will interchange sides of the field as they see fit and defensively they'll shut down whatever their opponents throw at them.
The halves pairing will see Allan Langer dominate play & Kieran Foran act as his 2IC on attack. Our forward pack has been chosen to result in an abundance of field postion so Langer's short kicking game with be prominent throughout. We've specifically recruited the 2011 version of Foran which means resilience to injury is high & dotting down 1 in every 3 games is the norm.

The bench are game changers. AFB & Tino will spell the starting Props at the 25th minute mark & will create havoc upon their tired opposition. Both have the endurance to play 55 minutes straight from there giving tactical freedom to the coach. Henry Paul's ball playing & ability to produce individual bits of brilliance make him the ideal #14. He's toppled the Kangaroos as a dummy half & dominated grand finals in the halves as well as playing Test footy on the Wing. Games that are in the balance could well be swung The Beanflickers way on the back of his introduction into a match. Pritchard has won the #17 jersey after careful consideration & is very much a luxury sub to have. Some days his services wouldn't be required as the starters, along with AFB & Tino, will have the match sewn up but, if required, the wrecking ball that is Frank the Tank is ready to skittle some unfortunate humans who get in his path.

Rock the Casbah!

1. Matt Bowen
2. Martin Offiah
3. Clinton Toopi
4. Kevin Iro
5. Josh Addo Carr
6. Benji Marshall
7. Andrew Johns
8. John Lomax
9. Craig Wing
10. Quinten Pongia
11. Ali Lauit'iti
12. Mark Geyer
13. Isaiah Yeo

14. Brandon Smith
15. Joe Vagana
16. Josh Papali'i
17. Tony Puleatua

First off im not going to say my team is tougher than anyone else's as all these teams are stacked with great tough players. I do rate this backline at the very least equal to any other line up here, and while the forward pack might lack some of the status names of others id be happy and confident running that line up out in any game or any era.

Start from the back - Matty Bowen. Probably unfortunate he came through the Billy Slater era....any other era he probably gets his due. Truly a mercurial and brilliant runner of the ball....if you ask his team mates including Jonathon Thurston who is the best fullback they played with....this is the guy they name.

One word sums up my wingers - SPEED! If your going to say "oh but Lee Oudenryan beat Offiah in a footrace"....well did Oudenflower's speed ever nab him 10 tries in one match?......barely scored 10 tries in a whole career.....Offiah was the real deal.....and until the advent of Tabuai Fidow my other winger Addo Carr held the "fastest in footy" mantle for probably the last 10 years. I know Hammer nailed him last season but peak JAC v Hammer....that wouldve been interesting.

Clinton Toopi....well you dont fluke a hatrick against Australia, and he is without doubt the Warriors greatest all time centre. Just wanted to attack the whole time. Stacey Jones tells the story they would have a "hot" call if someone wanted the ball cause there was an overlap or mismatch somewhere......they had to change it cause Toopi would just call it all the time regardless.
And Kevin Iro? ....well "the Beast" was just that....a beast!.....was so good he appeared to be in cruise mode a lot of the time, but if a coach could figure how to trigger that switch.....u had a match winner on your hands.

What can you say about Benji Marshall?......would never say that he's the best stand off of all-time, but he did what very few before him ever did..... things in games no one had ever done before,,,,,he was a legit game changer. We had seen guys with good steps before....but not like this......and who the hell throws a behind the back pass like he did famously to Blake Ayshford.....old days he wouldve got ripped from his coach.....that try against Cronulla!....left foot step...left foot step.....left foot step....accelerate through the hole draw the fullback....no look long ball for his winger to score.....what a legacy he left.
Andrew Johns -the GOAT.....ive no doubt Cleary will one day take that mantle but he's still yet to dominate at Origin and Test level. Johns one of the few halfbacks ive seen still able to dominate off backfoot ball.

John Lomax/Quinten Pongia RIP.....look up the interviews on You Tube where Laurie Daley, Ricky Stuart, Mal Meninga, Gordon Tallis talk about these guys.....they'll explain their worth better than i ever could.

Craig Wing started out on the wing, made his way in playing every position in the backline, then significantly became the prototype dummyhalf with blistering acceleration every team then tried to emulate......with his versatility gives me great coverage with my bench or interchange as well.

Ali Lauiti'iti we Warrior fans know all about - the hands of Jordan complemented with the madman every pack needs....and Mark Geyer was certainly that.

Rounded out nicely with the all round skills of Isaiah Yeo who's significance in Penriths 4peat is often underestimated.....i guarentee you his club dont under estimate him.

Bench.....well after Lomax and Pongia have softened up the opposition time to send the big boppers on Josh (Big Papa) Papali'i and (they dont get much bigger) Joe Vagana.....one of my alltime faves, left NRL far too early but went on to a wonderful career with Bradford.
The other half of "the hair bears" Tony Puleatua......interestingly it was guys like TP in that big huge Penrith pack that won in 2003 that led Daniel Anderson to want to bulk our forwards up the following year (unfortunately they got so big they couldnt handle the speed anymore)
Remember this game is the best versions of the players we've selected.....and the best version of Brandon Smith is a helluva dummyhalf impact player coming off the bench......at his best he was so strong especially close to the line......i dont know whats happened to him lately, just needs to get his head out of his ass,,,,,but i really hope he does get back to the player he can be.....he's still got time, and the Kiwis could really benefit from it.

There you go ladies and germs......thanks guys....ive had a blast!

The Dunners Stunners

1) Gary Belcher
2) Sean Hoppe
3) Mick Cronin
4) Tim Brasher
5) Willie Carne
6) Greg Alexander
7) Jonathon Thurston
8) James Fisher Harris
9) Cameron Smith
10) Marty Bella
11) Paul Sironen
12) Nathan Hindmarsh
13) Tohu Harris

14) Isaac Luke
15) Kurt Sorenson
16) Jeremy Smith
17) Wade Graham

Let’s just start off with the obvious
Cameron Smith = Winning
Throw in Jonathon Thurston and it’s not even a contest.

But wait there’s more. Silky runners like Brasher, Brandy Alexander combined with finishers like Hoppe and Carne equal points being scored.

They say the first name picked on a team should be the goal kicker and who better than the great Mick “the kick” Cronin to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

That engine room though, Harris, Hindmarsh and Fisher Harris wil work hard all day. Siro will be too hot to handle off JT’s short balls and Bella will be eating up the yards.

Sorenson, and Luke will add impact off the bench. Smith toughness should teams try to foolishly intimidate the Stunners and Graham will cover the backs should any of them strain a hamstring diving over for yet another try.

They’re all so stacked it’s impossible to pick a winner really but I’ll have a think about it and see if I can come up with 3 standouts.
Thought I’d posts what I see as some pros and cons for each side.
Don’t take any of the criticism to heart it’s all just splitting hairs at this level.
Well played all and thank u Wrighty Wrighty great job as usual.
Tyrael-
A relatively young side- all coming from the 2000s.
Great outside backs, arguably the best backrow and one of the best benches.
Spines maybe a step behind some of the other sides.
Wizards-
Love this team- it’s huge, especially the outside backs. Great pack, awesome bench.
Bit of a question mark over how the halves would work together and Monty at hooker is a bit of an eyesore. Thought u might’ve gone for toovey in the last rounds- tough as anyone who’s ever play the game.
Brownstone-
Definitely has the biggest names- this team is stacked af 1-17, guns everywhere- on paper this is the best lineup imho.
Could struggle for chemistry with so many dominant players and several playing out of their most recognized positions.
Also no goal kicker- not even a part timer- that could prove costly in close games which many of these are likely to be.
Inruin-
Another stacked team- outside backs as good as any and arguably the best pack- that is a wicked forward pack.
Bench is good but no real cover for the halves or dummy half.
Prince the weakest link- great player but probably the last 7 picked in this game- esp when guys like Hughes and lamb can’t make starting lineups.
Naumaifooty-
Amazing back 3, awesome halves.
Maybe a dominant starting prop short.
Brave call including the most English players- shows u nauyourfooty.
Billyspleen-
One of if not the best forward pack, backs not quite as strong.
Awesome bench
Cces-
Outside backs and pack as good as any. Spine not quite as strong as some of the opposition- maybe the best bench?
I get the feeling this side would be very hard to beat.
Boats and hoes-
Can’t remember mango playing for Australia tbh but he was a great wee player. Super athletes in the outside backs and the halves combo seems a match made in heaven.
Tough props, gun backrowers and a powerful bench.
Hard to find a weakness but wing as a makeshift hooker in such an important position could make things a bit clunky.
Muddogs-
This side has heaps of players from the 80s so 2 thumbs up from me.
Not as many superstars as some of the other sides but I really can’t see a weakness- solid af.
One of my personal favs for sure.

Not as many superstars as some of the other sides but I really can’t see a weakness- solid af.
One of my personal favs for sure.
Steve Rogers kicked goals, number 31 on all time goals in the NRL

Prince is s gun player who made two poor clubs look better than they were. But he isn't name like Thurston, Cleary or Sterling.

Buderus is an 80 minute player and I have Luke lewis on the bench who covers everywhere. Played a few seasons in the halves both at 6 and 7, center, wing, back row, lock and hooker at a pinch.

All the teams are fairly stacked which they should be when everyone has played test football. You really are going to have to be quite pedantic to rule some better than others to narrow it down to 3 teams to vote on.

I wouldn’t say Lewis was a bitch- can’t see in the halves or hooker is all :)
certainty not at this elite level.
