Crucial game tonight. Going into the bye in 2 weeks time sitting 3-1 on 8 points will give us a decent buffer going into the tough run of Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra after the bye.
Agree but we should take things one game at a time. If we turn up physically tonight, we should outmuscle the powerful but inexperienced chooks pack and bank the 2 pts. But if we underestimate them and turn up with our Vegas attitude, we'll get our asses handed to us again. Next week's game against Wests is also no pushover given how they performed last weekend. They could ambush us if we go there with the mentality that it is a guaranteed 2 pts.

Defense is going to be critical and will largely dictate how this one goes.

Roosters have given up loads of points in these last two games, while we were good defensively against Manly and even though we had 32 put on us against the Raiders, weirdly I actually think we were pretty good defensively against them, with 3 tries/16 points being scored from uncharacteristic errors from one player.

We'll get enough opportunities in attack, it's just whether or not we ice them.

I'm picking we do. Wahs 13+

It will be an interesting game. Last week was a massive turn around from Vegas. Was that just a one off fueled by stinging criticism or is it the new norm?

I've gone Roosters 1-12 but this is my least confident pick of the round I think

Yes Tooks I am going with you on this.
I feel our guys will have taken a lot of confidence out of the last game.
Need our forwards to stand up and be counted and our outside backs to defend well.

Quietly confident.
3rd game in a row for a steady team.

Hopefully Metcalf and CHT continue to build.

I feel our forwards should really get on top of theirs. Hopefully Clark continues to impress. (I’m still not sold on the need to continue with the “ball playing 13”).

Outside backs especially Tuaupiki will be challenged this game.

Can’t wait.
If our forwards are on top, we should win.

we struggle with this team, and they still have stacks of rep players - don't know what to pick.

we also haven't played them that often recently, just once a year for 5 of the last 6 seasons. 0W 7L btw.

the fact they always bash us you would think would be motivation, plus being at home.

That swindler Klein won't help matters, will be relying on the bunker (god help us) for a fair shake.

I FEEL LIKE CHICKEN TONIGHT, LIKE CHICKEN TONIGHT.

Their wingers will be the issue for us if it's a tight contest - 2 giants with a good turn of pace and exceptional ability in the air. Taine, time to show your worth.

Hopefully our pack can dominate like they did against Manly and the game will be played in their own half to nullify the threat. Chad and Sandon are no DCE.
