As i always do pick the the opposition 13+ incase we get smashed.
But I think this game is a real flip of the coin either team can win and I think if our defense is still rock solid and we hold our middle we should be okay. They will probably exploit Dallins edge hopefully he resists the temptation to come in.

Both bookends and our spiritual leaders out probably represent our biggest test yet.

We've done well with our next man standing policy so far, here's hoping it isnt a bridge too far with no Fish and Barney.

Hopefully sell out Wah;s mad crowd to get us home.

Man if Bunty could bridge that gap between his best cup performances and his NRL form we would be half way there.

I don't see how we compensate for the loss of Barnett.

That said, these dudes have surprised time and again with their ability to play the wrestling game and scab wins so fingers and toes crossed.

We've been scabbing wins all season. Last season we kept on getting dicked.

I think we've got a point to prove against the Raiders and besides on the wings, I back us dominating like we did against Dolphins and that will nullify their edges.

Fish has been right alongside the boys all week and will be in the sheds tonight - I know we will miss something of his art on field but he's there with them - I think we get this and easily

Although fish has hardly been on the field during the 5 game streak, his external impact on the playing group, especially the young forwards, is a large part of the reason why we have been so resilient during this period. He's really rubbed off on certain young players (Laban and Leka) but also on Erin who has starting to develop an enforcer like attitude since coming here which we never saw at the tits. I expect Erin and Marata to really lift in JFH/Barney's absence. Also can't wait for Laban vs Horsborough rd 2.

Another fun fact in our favor: in rematch games this year, sides that lost the first game won the second game 5/6 times. Broncos smashed Roosters in rd 1 and then Roosters returned serve in rd 6. Newcastle beat Wests in round 1 and Wests returned serve in round 6 as well. Roosters beat Penrith in round 2 and then Penrith smashed Roosters a couple of weeks later. So this year's history would suggest we return serve and beat Canberra tonight.

this is our toughest game before the bye. One game at a time. But if we win this, I like our chances in the next 2 games based on us winning the last 3 in Aussie and the current form of Rabbitohs/Sharks.

Its a big game, win and we pull away from the Raiders lose and we drop behind them. Raiders killed us with the offloads last time around and if we can match them upfront and stop the offload we’ll go a long way to winning this one.

both. We wouldn't be mentioning it if it hadn't been talked about. Coaches and players alike have been talking publicly about JFH's impact on the playing group for weeks now. I'm sure they've been posted several times on threads like these for weeks now. But just to highlight one example, Stacey was on sport nation last week talking about his impact on Leka and Jake in particular. Richie Agar has also had a couple of interview talking about it as well.

We have to win the ruck tonight if we're a chance. Roosters young guns showed it is possible to lift in that area with starters out.

My head says we’ve been riding our luck a bit of late and it’s gotta run out at some stage- A strong Raiders team where we are missing 2 of our more influential players is highly likely that stage.
HOWEVER a win here is one hell of a statement, will put us first =, revenge against the team that started talk of “spoon favourites “, and puts an end to only winning against easy beats.
