Adam Gee the ref for our Cows game, could easily see one team with a hot start and he pulls the other team back for another usual Wahs Heart Attack Night
I'm not sure I'd blame the ref for our 2nd half wobbles in that game. Watching it again tonight, we really self-destructed in that second half. Add that along with the Rocco injury that f**ed up our forward rotation and you get that epic cowboys comeback. Fix that up and that heart breaker becomes a wahs 13+ win. Just gotta play for 80 mins tonight.

I have a good feeling about tonight for reasons others have articulated. But I also just remembered another piece of good karma. In 2023 it was the Raiders game at home that catapulted us into the top four, a position we did not relinquish for the rest of the year. So it's only fitting that in 2025, the corresponding fixture catapults us into the top 2 for good.

Raiders are no easy beats and deserve their place in the top four.

Earn it. Control the middle. Leka to cause havoc on his edge setting up a returning Ali for a double. Ali to feed Roger for a double. Capewell to set Metty up untouched under the posts. Pompey and Fordy to score.

40 - 14 to us. Let's get it!!!

Honestly I’d prefer Ali gets his reps in cup for a week or two

DWZ, RTS and Berry have all struggled with the pace.

Even with only a few weeks off Ali’s rhythm and timing won’t be in sync like say Pomp’s

Can’t believe I am saying this but Capewell out wide reading the defensive lines is a safer option

Looks like TMM is in this game as TSS is playing in cup today. I'd prefer Healey as a bench hooker but if we are going to use TMM, I hope it's more than just for backs injury cover. Using him for 5 mins at the end of the Dolphins game doesn't seem like a good utilization to me. The only other side I know that does this is the Sharks who also put a half on the bench (Atkinson) and only use him for a cameo at the end. It ended up costing them last night when they were outmuscled by the chooks. They really could have used another prop.

So if we are going to use TMM, I hope we integrate him more into our attack as an impact ball-playing lock off the bench like we had with Walker before he left. Having TMM, LM and Egan all on the field at the same time suddenly makes our attack far more potent.

Every time I here this I always vision Rob Schneider saying it, haha! Fantastic!

Up The Wahs! 13+ 🖐️:p
clean your ears so you can hear it instead of here it.

Webster et al might playing 4D chess with Ali in cup.

Has anyone considered that they might have decided to take a serious look at Capewell for center this year?

Might it be they are giving Capewell more games to cement this radical shift?

both. We wouldn't be mentioning it if it hadn't been talked about. Coaches and players alike have been talking publicly about JFH's impact on the playing group for weeks now. I'm sure they've been posted several times on threads like these for weeks now. But just to highlight one example, Stacey was on sport nation last week talking about his impact on Leka and Jake in particular. Richie Agar has also had a couple of interview talking about it as well.
 Yeah JFH wouldn't have to say much I guess. A look of "Onya mate" and you'd know. A look of "disapproval" and you'd Know better.
He's showing the young boys how championships are built. They'd look up to 'im more, now, than they ever did I reckon.

Anyhow, GO the Mighty Warriors! 🖐️😛 (don't quite look like the Mana Wave but you knew that, right? 🙂)

Don't think I have seen so much man love for a Warriors player since Campion who was my 'mans man' back in the daiseys.

JFH is up there with Mark Graham too for respect.

With the addition of Leiataua we have gone from a snow ball's chance in moderately balmy Hamilton to a snow ball's chance in more chilly Mosgiel.
We are in this with a shout but it will be an epic encounter and quite comfortably the highest quality match of the round with both teams performing at a higher level than most NRL opponents could match.

Is Ali playing @Wrighty

Offloads, offloads, offloads... Sticky does it to us every time... team gets gassed fast, then we leak points..
Just hope Webbys prepared the boys to stop it.
We still need to attack and score points, with injuries haven't had the chance to field the strongest backline yet..
Well hope we jag this one... let's gone..

Dragons too. We outlasted them. Make their defence work hard and put them under score board and crowd pressure.
