Shout to Laban. He knew his role was to be a limited minute impact bench player and he certainly had an impact.
There is something about the way he plays and his interviews that says he would do anything for the warriors jumper. He seems to burst with pride when talking about the Warriors and said he and his cohort stayed with the Warriors when wooed by other teams during Covid. He, Jacob Laban seems to have the most pride in the jersey I have ever seen from any warrior and you could see his attitude in his runs and hit ups last night.
My opinion is that he likes it more on first grade which is understandable. But some of his form and attitude during cup games has been a bit slack.

What's with the trying to push the ball behind the dead ball line when a grubber goes over the goal line rather than just fall on it

It is a disaster waiting to happen and it happened to us last night

Not getting into Ed as all teams do it but makes no sense to me

Ed got his lines confused.

You do it when close to the deadball
line not the try line… he should have caught and planted the ball

Probably, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him selected either. Don’t think much of Laurie Daley as a coach either so anyone could get it? Might go with a Koriasau selection for Luai’s combination?
I think Noitall the optics on SOO origin are greater than who makes the Kangaroos as there is more interest in Australia in SOO than the Kangaroos. Because of those optics incumbents will have to be out of form in order to be displaced in my view. For other positions they have resolved this by playing both contenders and putting the up comer to centre instead of fullback etc but in this case hookers are so specialised I see this as a winner takes all shoot out where the coach will be mired in inertia.

Yeah, should've fallen on it - did that with his try why not in that situation?... I mean I'm not a Kosi hater, I respect where he's got to, but the guy is limited ... you need someone on the end of the line that's a possible threat rather than just holding the space, that way you can get good continuity of shape, an option for a cut out or a second man play ... it's not possible with the style of player that Kosi is ... same goes for the scramble on defence

My point is that as all teams do it then it must be a coached thing but why I can’t understand

The way people read into photos and peoples socials around here.....Metcalfs a hugger big time, especially his team mates.

It is ok is all I am saying, nothing wrong with it.

I watched it live on Fox lol, it is fine to ask if Courtney is a nice person who might be (with other girls) helping the Metcarves to settle in a foreign country with a new bubs, after all Cam George said they are a community of families 🤷‍♂️ Maybe not, but if people think it’s implying something else, it’s not on me lol

Funny how so many supporters of the losing team have a crack at the ref when they are on the wrong end of the scoreline, often with no real evidence. Chris Butler saved us a lot of the time by making the correct calls like the forward pass, downtown etc. The only howler of the night was not his call but the bunkers with the allowance of Walsh's try from a ball that was clearly rolling forward.

Stockholm Syndrome - “my violent boyfriend is giving me six again and calling their forward passes and obstructions?” 😱🥰🥰

Take this with a grain of salt as I am just going off last night

Metcalf seems to chip his goal kicks for the ones that are short distance they spray off his foot. For ones further out he gives is a full follow through with his leg and they fly truer.

I thought he chipped the last one and it went 60m 😂
