Just like a natural 6 or 1 ;)

Definite question marks over certain aspects of his game as an on the ball half (and they quite evident), but i do take my hat off to the kid who after kicking like he had 2 left shoes couldve quite easily passed it on to Pompey. But to back himself and want to be "that guy".....thats half the battle.

Kudos must go to our middles for that one who worked their arses off. Barney and Clark leading the line speed, the great wall of Bunty, and Ford....who altho has a lot of gumby about him, has one big engine under the bonnet.

As much as id rather a comfortable win, think this is how we'll get most of our wins this year.....compete for 80, and grind like hell.
I thought I saw Ford make a few errors
I also thought Bunty only played about 15. More minutes for Bunty a reduction in Fords time
Erin was probably our best player
Marata and Luke Capewell pulled it off - they can the performing footsteps of Leka Demetric and Jacob knocking down the door.
A thank you too to Broncos number 6 7 and 1
The manicured pampered dry track Broncos got caught by the old Auckland rain wind and 17 committed Warriors.
Auckland rain capital of the world turned on the weather and we played the wet weather game to win
Our 6 and 7 did the job too

One guy reckoned there is no bigger bias in the NRL than playing us at home. Dude likely hasn't watched some of the puzzling calls that happen to our side.

Another one said Walsh didn't need to kick it that far or wasn't told to kick it that far. That got the response that it was impressive he kicked it that far into the wind which I found funny.

Then @tajhay pipes in to ask if they realise they need to change their avatars. Get in there and twist the knife.

To be fair they have a few sensible people pointing out their experience or class and they are still struggling. Or one guy pointing out how well we defended with numbers in the tackle.

Metcalfs the guy. You can see it. Wants it more than anyone on the field, thatā€™s who you want steering the ship.
I would like him to be, but I feel like we have so much more to offer as a team, yes we are sitting 3rd atm but look how fast we got brought back to reality last week.
we still look so directionless on attack. And I think Metcalf has much more to offer at 6 where he doesnā€™t have the worry of leading the team around as he looks too hesitant. Martin or Boyd to 7

We won that with some brutal defence. If we had some shape in attack we would have put a score on them.
Leka showed he can play 80 minutes. Likely back to the bench next week but hopefully more minutes. Would like to see the number 12 on his back later this season.
Clark so far is easily the best buy of the seasons.
Ford just has such a big motor on him. Love the effort he brings just not some of the execution.
Have to eat my words about Capewell. He did alright as Centre. Still wouldn't want him there on a dry track though.
IMHO that was Capewahs best match for the WAHs ... much like FORD he was well involved not game breakers like LEKA but big minute 100% effort players you really hope don't fuck it up ... so stoked with the WIN .. really hoping LUKE grows a leg of confidence 40/20 ...winning kick at the end ... and brings something to the attacking organisation leadership close to the try line

In many ways, we won that game via brute force ...not speed and smarts .....conditions suited the BIG boys

I would like to see BOYD in the team after watching the NSW Cup game
