Got off to a hell of a start, at 14-0 Im willing to say no other team beats us from there

They were pretty clinical after that opening 20. Quality team the storm are

That basically takes the streak to 10 years. I was a 7 year old child when we beat the storm last. I am now 18. I cried when Coates scored in corner earlier this year, but I don't even feel sad anymore. I genuinely think we are cursed to never beat the storm again

Before the game I told my oldest (10) they hadn't won against the Storm while you have been alive. Then I saw the stat and corrected it and said the same thing to his brother.

The frustrating thing with this stat is we used to be the team everyone used to like watching against the Storm. We'd cause them trouble or end up getting over them with freakish plays. Those days are long gone.

I was going to ask. Does it happen often that they go back for a penalty?
I can recall them more when the game has a stoppage calling out the player and saying they are on report for an incident a few plays back.

Thats what makes it so weird. Its commonplace to put players on report 2 tackles later but never a penalty.

I don't understand why CHT didn't go to centre. I get Walker has played there before and he wasn't bad there but it also screws our play by essentially moving two players - Berry out and Walker moving from the middle where he has been exceptional the last three games. Seems the more options AW has the more he makes some weird choices.

What was even crazier was that Walker looked to be struggling with every carry he did out there on the edge. It was like going back to the old plan of playing busted guys on extended minutes while fresher guys are just sitting there.

Tohu needs to medically retire and I hope it’s Capewells mrs that is homesick. Montoya needs to find a new club too.

Other than that, giving away penalties and making errors over and over after the 15 minute mark isn’t gonna win games.

Unfamiliar as a 2nd receiver , shut down by an offside Storm defender a lot, rushed PTB before HT for a knock on, Berry style kicks were either too far or we were too gassed to chase, gave up a 7 tackle set with a long kick, just. Rusty but could be good when they work out some space for him

Not well...looked very uncomfortable playing second fiddle at times. Kicking was off. Thought he defended ok.

Looking at the team stats and we completely dominated the storm in basically every single category. Wow!

The pieces are there just how Webby put it together, can’t be bothered watching the replay but no one from the bench was exactly giving barnstorming runs to hold the Storm momentum. Walker had a lot of space out wide, wonder if RTS or CNK could exploit that going forward, was it our second rowers or SJ holding the defense? Walker beat his man at least 2-3x, didn’t have the pace to break lose

I don't think we are far away, and getting RTS back is now an easy decision.
Like to see Ale play as well.
May be SJ on the bench, to be injected when required.
Tahu slowing down prop rotation only.

I thought Jackson played really strong!
I prefer him at Prop than on the edge.

Capewell is so Meh and needs to be Webbys token 17 and won't get on the field unless we have an injury.

Montoya is mud 2 good games this year does not make up for his low ceiling. RTS needs to take his spot. If Berry is out I would bring in MGT.

Didn't see much of him tbf, and what I did see wasn't too flash, rusty as. Given the start we had I thought it was set up for him to make his mark

They look even slower live than on tv.

DWZ and Montoya.. drive me nuts these two. They can go too.
Brain explosions and can never be trusted on a high bomb or to defend their line wide.

Super disappointed with this performance. We are our own worse enemies sometimes
