I have waited two days to simmer down.
Here is my considered opinion in the absence of negative emotions.
On the Montoya sin bin the Melbourne player felt Montoya's hands around the ball and realised it was two in the tackle so the Melbourne player just dropped the ball and gave it to the gormless Montoya. I reckon the Storm cooked up that play just like they have cooked up all sorts of gamesmanship tactics over the years. The penalty then unexpectedly became a sin bin through a bone headed Montoya not retreating ten metres. And that was the game,
The score was 18-20 before Montoya's sin bin and it was anyone's game.
Reffing did not cost us this match because despite the reffing it was 18-20 until the Sin bin at the 53 minute mark.

We lost this match due to Melbourne storm trickery.

That is my view. We are still on track this season and were probably unlucky to lose on the weekend. Most pundits in Australia are calling it a close game.
Times 10 Wrighty!! Cam Smith's storm trickery was maybe the first time any of us (well, maybe just me) had seen the motherfu^ker purposely pass it, into an oblivious retreating defender/to someone just sitting there, from d/half always leading to a penalty for the storm. Worst thing lately, that recent game, the TAB had us as favourites. Well, I'll take the truth, the higher truth the higher truth... why? Present, Jerome Hughes and Harry Grant are their trickery Cu^)s!! I fu^k)ng h8 them now...they!!!don't!!!!deserve!!!!!any!!!!!!title!!!!!!! Katoa's doing is job, so good :D

I was so angry after this game I stayed away from all RL sites for days. Firstly it was poor job done by the ref. Games like this is why I hate the 6 again rule. With the 6 again there is zero accountability on the ref. If we went back to the rules before the 6 again we at least could challenge the blatantly poor calls of which there were plenty. The ref though is not why we lost.

What I cannot understand is why we go guns blazing at MSS for the first 20 minutes then turn into the Tigers after that? We just seem to have a soft underbelly this year. I think we need to drop players that are not giving it their all. First of those is Montoya. Why didn't he retreat then throw the ball back to him or drop it somewhere behind the Storm player and get back into line. Fuck me he would struggle to get in a special Olympics team because of him being too "special". Tohu is another. His stats look good but I think the speed of the game has finally caught up with him.

Barnett, AFB and Niukore looked good. I found the TMM and SJ tactic interesting. They should mix that up where some games SJ is more dominant and other TMM is depending on the defensive weakness of the opposition. It would give us a point of difference but it just needs to be tweaked. We also need some more youth and speed. A fast winger to replace Montoya and a fast centre on the other side from the new winger. Keep experienced players next to them to help them defensively.

Lastly, fuck you Melbourne Storm.

Thank you Gods_17 for feeling my point and giving examples over the years of other Melbourne trickery.
I find they manage the scoreboard rather than actually playing the true game of rugby league. Do you feel my point what I am getting at?
