Got off to a hell of a start, at 14-0 Im willing to say no other team beats us from there
Before the game I told my oldest (10) they hadn't won against the Storm while you have been alive. Then I saw the stat and corrected it and said the same thing to his brother. That basically takes the streak to 10 years. I was a 7 year old child when we beat the storm last. I am now 18. I cried when Coates scored in corner earlier this year, but I don't even feel sad anymore. I genuinely think we are cursed to never beat the storm again
Yeah, two byes already..Melbourne are 1st on the ladder for a reason
Thats what makes it so weird. Its commonplace to put players on report 2 tackles later but never a penalty.I was going to ask. Does it happen often that they go back for a penalty?
I can recall them more when the game has a stoppage calling out the player and saying they are on report for an incident a few plays back.
What was even crazier was that Walker looked to be struggling with every carry he did out there on the edge. It was like going back to the old plan of playing busted guys on extended minutes while fresher guys are just sitting there.I don't understand why CHT didn't go to centre. I get Walker has played there before and he wasn't bad there but it also screws our play by essentially moving two players - Berry out and Walker moving from the middle where he has been exceptional the last three games. Seems the more options AW has the more he makes some weird choices.
50/50 on SJ. DCE is showing the wayAnyone else think we need to go all in Dylan Brown and cut SJ and Tohu for 2025?
For those you watched the game on TV. How did SJ play? It is hard to see when watching live.
The feel tonight was like the titians game.
Not well...looked very uncomfortable playing second fiddle at times. Kicking was off. Thought he defended ok.For those you watched the game on TV. How did SJ play? It is hard to see when watching live.

Looking at the team stats and we completely dominated the storm in basically every single category. Wow!
Didn't see much of him tbf, and what I did see wasn't too flash, rusty as. Given the start we had I thought it was set up for him to make his markFor those you watched the game on TV. How did SJ play? It is hard to see when watching live.

Capewell and Tohu need to be replaced with youth and speed
