The Roosters looked impressive last night albeit with a few flaws. Hopefully we can get up for this game too.

The more I think about it, you can’t have Taine out there isolated marking up Dom Young or Daniel Tupou.

Play him at fullback or sit him for this one.

I think that win buys Pompey and CNK another game at least.

Berry will be a swap for Pompey, but winning this game probably gave Webby the chance to give Berry another game in Cup to get further up to speed.

CNK was much better last night, but still just doesn't seem like his usual energetic self. I can't see him starting against the Storm in Rd 4, so imo he really only has this game to make a statement.

I don't think Webby changes anything unless there are some niggles or injuries we don't get know about

Pompey unlucky to miss out but have to have a fit Rocco in the side alongside our gamebreaker in Ali. Shift Rocco to left alongside RTS as Ali seems to be strong on the right.

Was Pompey that played every minute in 2023 and I think Berry is going to have a harder time than most to get back to the first grade side. I was surprised some were so critical last week even because I thought him and Walker were about the only two straightening up our attack from what was really side to side. He’s getting a lot of first grade under his belt now and is really underrated I reckon. He came through idolising RTS so it must be a dream lining up next to him. Berry picked up a crusher yesterday in what looks like his neck still is giving him grief so I think they’ll hold off for a bit, but he could very well play his way back. He was on the right next to DWZ in the first grade he played before, was he on the left or right yesterday?

He played on the right yesterday. He is certainly a step above Cup level but I think needs a couple more weeks to get his confidence and match fitness up. I wonder if Webby has learnt from last season and is going to not rush injured players back in to first grade

Right side for me, he's always played there and Ali is the only centre who is silky both sides.
