If we simply it just get someone to point the forwards that way in the first half and the other way in the second half. Should be ok from that point
Not worried about leadership. I am concerned about losing our two premier props who, along with Clark, provide defensive dominance and go forward meters with the ball. I think everyone gets a little nervous when they have both been off the field at the same time in games previously.
Whatever happens and whoever is put out on the field has that same mentality and buy-in.
What's obvious is that Canberra will be coming with the same game plan as Vegas - fast start, up the middle and offloading for Africa!
Contain this game plan early and control the momentum, and I say it becomes a natural dog fight, which we have been more accustomed to this year.
I think we need to see big games from both RTS and DWZ. Their experience will be invaluable this weekend, and without the 2 alphas up front, meterage and setting the tone for our sets will be important.

Bit disappointed that JFH is not playing this week. I'm sure he would have baited Big Red into doing something galactic level stupid. But it is what it is. I'm tipping Erin to lift in Barney and JFH's absence and for the young forwards to use this opportunity to press their case for extended minutes moving forward. Pomps and Capes to shut down time and space on the edges for Timoko and Kris. LM to rise to the occasion again as he has done all year. I can see a cheeky LM field goal to seal this one for us in golden point.
Just needs to ask if the carpet matches the curtains and Big Red should start doing dumb stuff.
Our start is super crucial. The two games we've lost, we've started slow and the game was essentially over at HT. In all other games where the result is in the balance coming into the final 20, we've always found ways to win. Raiders are going to try to start fast to take the crowd out of the equation so we gotta match them physically in the early stages. If we can do that, I think we have the defensive game to grind out another win. One of the benefits of winning clutch matches all the time is that it becomes a habit.
Real stretch to win without Fish or Barney. Jackson Ford is back however so we have another hard worker, we are just lacking that hard Edge from the captains. It will be our biggest win to date if we win without the captains. Go hard boys.
