Clark has been our player of the year by landslide so far. What a guy.

Metcalf was class tonight. I think our halves cop of a lot of flack for clunky attack that I would blame on Capewell, Ford, Niukore etc running shit lines and being uncoordinated in running shape.

Halasima needs to be starting for the rest of the season. Which means Niukore needs to stay at prop which suits him better imo, he doesn't have enough footwork or ball skills to justify him being out wide.

Overall was a pretty messy win. A lot of opportunistic tries. But cant complain with a W against a team we were expected to beat.

Niukores pretty ineffective in the middle imo, would like Ale to take his spot in the team once he’s back

This next three weeks could seal it for Halasima for 2025, if he can keep this up through this then he's usurped Niukore, I actually think he already has and Webby is making the right calls!

Webby is impressing me the most with his team selection and In game subs.

It's important to nail these wins in NZ. Winning at home is the difference between a top 8 season and a bottom 4 one. It's why Manly and Dragons will be in trouble later in the year- they've both had a majority of their games at home so far and have a losing record. So I love that we are 4-0 in NZ. If we continue to maintain such a good record, the odd blowout (Vegas, Melbourne) won't be an impediment to finishing high (top 6 or let alone top 4) this year.

Given this fact, the last two wins at home are super important in the context of our season. We won't come back home for another month (until May 25 against Canberra I think).

Great to get the win on ANZAC Day in a non-Akl home game as the heavy favourites. I also started watching the game half an hour late to keep my own jinx off the team, 5/5 wins when I don't watch live

Knights didn't help themselves but we played hard regardless of execution.

Please take the conversion kicks off Metcalf, he can just concentrate on all his #7 duties (and long distance penalties) which are still a work in progress.
