Pick Your Team Warriors v Knights - [Round 8, 2025]

I gotta agree with others and say that having Healey or even lussick on the bench looks better than TMM. I don't think It's fair on either CHT or TMM to switch in and out of the 6 role, it's a position that you get better as the longer you stay with the the same spine players.

That said I wonder if Healey is on a train and development contract this year. Meaning he cannot play in full grade till round 10.

Think Egan is hugely important and the fact they had to bring him back on after there was an injury complaint says to me they need him on the field. Webster mentioned after the game that Egan can’t play 80 so it’ll be interesting the direction they go. Even Egan’s tackling is strong with him really hurting Willison to dislodge the ball on one occasion

Was it last week Webby said Egan can't be doing 80 for the whole season. So I do think at some point we will move to having Healey on the bench. Perhaps getting minutes into our young guys first then make the change?

Unpopular opinion.

I'd drop Leka back to the bench. Capewell came good, and imo probably does those 1% that we don't see.
I thought a few times before Leka's try he looked to be impatient and on another occasion got carried away. He's young, and has a big career ahead of him, give him a few more starting opportunities this year but also, I really like the thought of him taking a good year to learn how best to use his frame against a tiring opposition off the bench. Let him focus on the minute to minute grind of NRL a little later.

Blasphemy. I would name leka as captain coach at 7 at this point

Yea every game he definitely does have 'rookie' moments. So I am happy to have his time managed as Webby sees fit. Capes has been shocking this year. Definitely a step in the right direction, i hope he keeps it up
