All the top teams getting the job done while we falter…![]()
That’s nothing to brag about in our current spine.
CHT is a good tackler.Toss of the coin with Taine do you wanna sure the defence up slightly or do you wanna be ragdolled as well
CHT is a good tackler.
He makes a lot of runs.
On balance he wins some loses some.
But has made some terrible decisions not to pass on an early run when the support player is running though a massive hole.
TT is a better defender, makes the team a far better attacking threat and makes his share of dirty runs and it’s a total myth he gets ragdolled any more than most.
There isn't a better hooker in the club. Healey still has a lot to work on, people are just enamoured with a good running game. His service is barely adequate, and can't even pass one side properly. That’s nothing to brag about in our current spine.
The thing is there’s better hookers and fullbacks than the currents ones within the club, not in the halves tho.
TT is a great player are you wanting to bring him into replace cht?CHT is a good tackler.

Taine is more like runs back fast and no post contact meters, rather than getting ragdolled. Definitely has more vision and unique last line defense
Gotcha, wasn't really aiming more just mentioning.
Well I'll admit to being one of those clueless old buggers. Back in my day son, depending on where the ball landed the forwards would run back to help out. Times have changed so I'll just continue to coach Piako from the side lines on Sat mornings & piss off their coaching staff by yelling at the winger to "stay 2 metres from the sideline" in defense.Yep - does my head in hearing clueless old buggers at the ground whinge about the lazy forwards not being back.
The back 3 will take the first 3 hit ups, so why bother racing back only to run back to where you already were?
I reckon Charnzey just needs his KPI's reduced but fine tuned to get max wattage of benefitsYa I mean we were old last year but Leka’s probably gonna win rookie of the year and Demi’s been a beast all year, Clark probably winning club player of the year, and Healey can run the other team around, Pompey doing some explosive stuff this year and Metcalf was leading the dally M. It’s been the defense since the halves change and red zone attack missing 1 creative player since Metcalf got hurt (we still have TMM and TTI am struggling to remember if CNK did anything in the red zone all year, crashing over the line? Draw and pass to Dallin or Berry? Looking at other fullbacks aren’t they the guy breaking lines or putting players into gaps?)
