The masterclass of Boyd v Flanagan had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

An epic of Mason Lino vs Bodie Croft like proportions.

Hopefully Tanah gets some confidence out of those few runs he took and takes the line on a bit more next week.

So I’m not a fan of CNK at centre but at least he can tackle. Pompey - and DWZ - hmmmm

Sheeshz, 20+ missed tackles between Marata, Boyd, Pomps, DWZ on that right edge.

Are we gaining anything from the cnk to centre and taine to fb move? Taine is best suited to wing but he wont get it above dwz or rts. Cnk needs to go back to fb.
Taine was so ineffective tonight. Usually he is a much better playmaking fullback option in attack than CNK but he was awful tonight. Running his outside backs out of room. We somehow managed to run a sweeping backline play out to our left wing only to find CNK with the ball with RTS outside him and 4 defenders waiting for them both.

For all the people rage posting right now, let's keep some perspective.

Dragons are no longer the mud side they've been all year. They were robbed against the Dogs, beat Canberra and taught Cronulla a lesson last week. Getting the 2 pts was never going to be easy tonight and we had to be good to beat them. They are a grubby side with their season on the line. To be as bad as we were and come away with the 2 pts is actually fortunate.

As for the game, no doubt that ranks as one of our worst performances all year, despite it being a win. For a side with the best completion rate in the comp, 10 errors is just ridiculous. No one player should be scape goated- JFH, Ford, Leka. They all contributed to the mess we created in the ruck.

But once we got out of our own way, I thought we won the middle battle. Erin did his usual thing and was our best I thought. DWZ, RTS monster meters as per usual. TSS also had another solid outing. EIT also did well in the middle, even though that is not his natural position.

Finally, Pompey haters need to chill. He had a shocking start no doubt and Finae was running rings around him. But he definitely redeemed himself by showing up Finae twice in the final 20 minutes, including for the match winning try. Pompey is one of our most consistent performers week in week out. So one mixed performance we should give.

To add to that, the 3 HIAs was wild….had that not happened the game was all St George’s, it gave us a leg up eventually

Didn’t we just beat the team that has just beaten Raiders and Cronulla.
We are top 4 despite so many setbacks and are safe in the 8.
And there was so much fantastic play at times and more first grade experience for Healey Tanner and Eddie.
Leka didn’t play the second half.
People going on about the Dragons losing three players are the same moaners that ignore that calculus in why our team is having a hard time.

I thought the Dragons barely skipped a beat with all their outs.

Think he had baby on his mind

Enjoy this warriorsfans

I was sure they were gonna bunk that up, even though I was sitting down the other end in the South Stand.

Also, six agains are even worse in person when you can't hear what the refs dumb reason is 😅

Being a fellow ginger, I will hold my tongue against young Todd, but he was really grinding my gears especially in that first half hah

If you consider the battle of the Somme entertainment.

Grim watching, but hope it gives the boys confidence.

A+ Ford, Clark, DWZ, Rog
A CHT, Egan,
B+ Boyd, JFH, Marata, Leka, Demi, Pompey
B Charnze

A++++ Those Dragons that knocked themselves out. Poor buggers, but that happened because JFH just put that little burst at the line getting in front of the tackle. DWZ knockout was him off the back fence. You make your own luck.

Less mistakes boys and make it a bit easier.
Egan was poor and Marata was terrible
