Didn’t we just beat the team that has just beaten Raiders and Cronulla.
We are top 4 despite so many setbacks and are safe in the 8.
And there was so much fantastic play at times and more first grade experience for Healey Tanner and Eddie.
Leka didn’t play the second half.

For all the people rage posting right now, let's keep some perspective.

Dragons are no longer the mud side they've been all year. They were robbed against the Dogs, beat Canberra and taught Cronulla a lesson last week. Getting the 2 pts was never going to be easy tonight and we had to be good to beat them. They are a grubby side with their season on the line. To be as bad as we were and come away with the 2 pts is actually fortunate.

As for the game, no doubt that ranks as one of our worst performances all year, despite it being a win. For a side with the best completion rate in the comp, 10 errors is just ridiculous. No one player should be scape goated- JFH, Ford, Leka. They all contributed to the mess we created in the ruck.

But once we got out of our own way, I thought we won the middle battle. Erin did his usual thing and was our best I thought. DWZ, RTS monster meters as per usual. TSS also had another solid outing. EIT also did well in the middle, even though that is not his natural position.

Finally, Pompey haters need to chill. He had a shocking start no doubt and Finae was running rings around him. But he definitely redeemed himself by showing up Finae twice in the final 20 minutes, including for the match winning try. Pompey is one of our most consistent performers week in week out. So one mixed performance we should give.

So we start the year with the majority of the forum hoping we scrape into the 8.
We just got back into the top 4, can’t drop out of the 8 so we should be celebrating.
How can anyone not be.
We keep exceeding expectations.

Taine's most impressive contribution from fullback for me has been his positioning when defending clean line breaks, saved a couple of trys against the knights and another tonight.

Clark is the player who shifts the game in the last 20 not with anything amazing just energy and confidence.

He would have to be one of our best ever recruits.

God there's an insane amount of negativity here. Did any of you genuinely think this was our year? Especially after losing so many players? Coming into this year our roster was not even near top 8 on paper, then we lost half of it including our captain and halfback.

This season is an actual miracle for us to be in the top 4. Yeah we look janky as fuck cause it's basically the b team at this point, of a squad that wasn't stacked to begin with, while half the comp is coming in hot and mostly fit.

Likely to be 2 out of 3 finals years for Webby, possibly 2 out of 3 top 4 finishes. Absolutely insane turn around for the club. We're not a true top 4 side until the youth comes through, but we're primed for it with these over performances.

Future is bright and the culture is good. Getting shit done ugly is still getting shit done.

Aside from the prop situation, Ford and Barnett were the two players that mopped up everything. Whether or not people think Ford overplays his hand, there is an enormous amount of slack that needs to be taken up now.

I must have been offscreen during the crusher. Was it worse than recidivist offender Kaufusi breaking Laban's leg?

I'm guessing Afoa gets a swansong.
