We did everything in our power to lose that game and somehow we win!

Dallin you are my man tonight! You got us going forward with some great runs!

More of that please Dal!
Yeah did he make any try saving tackles or catch any high bombs? Nope.

Dragons attack his wing. Yeap. They scare any tries. Yeap. Two.

Taking hit ups was never DWZ’s weak point. Anyone can do it. Just ask RTS and CNK.

Glorifying his performance is just masking his problems which hasn’t been fixed.

Taine to take his spot next week. TMM to fullback.
This is the way.

Would have run them down earlier and been a bit more comfortable if our forwards stopped dropping the ball on play 1-2 all the time.

Good energy in defence.

2 reasons that wasn’t an obstruction,

1) he goes for Niukore who while on the outside shoulder is almost through the line and never going to get the ball, should have just slid without the acting if he was still in the way would have been called back.

2) it’s a bloke named Lyhkan King-Togia. If his names Moses or Cleary or Hughes - red lights.

Whole lot of moaning that a team of battlers and rookies is running 4th.
ah gawd, that was never an obstruction - fucked me right off that flanagan and cook cooked that up in their presser as the reason why they lost ... piss off you moaners, let's see a penalty to yr opposition within the first forty or a straight set of markers before you start shooting yr mouths

Well hang on - using your own logic, did Taine make any try saving tackles or catch any contested high bombs?

He chimed in on Pompeys tries but moving him to wing would nullify that, and he doesn't have the metre eater abilities of a bigger body like Dallin.

I am really no DWZ fan but replacing him with Taine/TMM ain't the one.

You know there’s nothing worse than using someone’s own arguments against them…..

He is the last line of defense. If hes missing tackles that means his team mates have missed tackles too. Not saying he is a great defender, Because he isn't. But having to dictate where to be when we have so many frail defenders in our team must be a nightmare to read.
Nonetheless RTS and CNK know where to stand behind the line consistently. That noted he makes up for his positional red zone weakness with being an outstanding cover defender.

Make no mistake Jackson Ford will be missed over the next 3 rounds

Yes he makes some errors but the amount of work he does is outstanding

Anyone who thinks JFH will pick up the slack is delusional as his form since coming here has been well below par

Bring on Bunty :)

There’s merit in that idea
But
Webster will just move the badly performing Nuikore to prop with Capewell back to the second row
Webster may have to find out from the nsw cup coach how to manage his props rotation

Lot of options if Berry is back. I think we need to limit Halasima’s minutes off the bench, the long season looks like it could be catching up? Vaimauga is coping well though and I’d consider starting him and bringing Ale onto the bench. He’s been playing prop, lock and second row in nsw cup and would be an opportunity for him to earn an extension

I'm worried about this because he is everywhere, but I'm also interested to see how it goes because he is always being pulled up by the ref.

This ban feels like a Kiwi suspension with a test coming up that we’ve had over the years. Seems a bit heavy handed?
Hi
It does with our tin foil hats on feel like "they" have suspended a key forward just when we need one on purpose.
However - I personally think Ford is such a liability that if this was some conspiracy theory then it is going to back fire as I am convinced we will be better off without Ford and his 4-5 turnovers against us each game. I feel more confident of winning without him than with him.

See my comments re Marata filling in and doing same error penalty methodology

Well if Bunty plays we are set. If Marata plays prop I don't see him giving away any more or less penalties than he does at second row. The major problem we are going to face with Marata at prop isn't errors and handling errors like Ford it will be that he goes missing and we wonder where he was while he was out there. While as much as i don't like Ford and think he should be sent to NSW cup you have to admit that he is very busy out there.

Haha whaaaat. Pomps with two very bad one on one misses (although I think that 2nd try came from his inside man pushing up so had to follow).

No way was that on Dal. Had one of his better games in a while, credit where credit's due

I can’t recall the poster that mentioned it, but Kaufusi only getting 2 weeks with the severity of the injury and his history seems a bit hard to follow? Ford obviously has a poor history too regarding suspensions?

If Ford is out and he’s the workhorse in the pack that everyone thinks then its imperative Webby gets his bench usage right. Especially for Egan and Capewell who will take up most of the slack in cleaning up around the ruck.

Leka is not a workhorse. Neither is Marata. Or Clark. Their strength is impact. If we need another workhorse to give Egan and Capewell a break then it has to be Lussick at the expense of Healey.

Unfortunately, I think you're right

I ask again.
What credit are you giving him for? Doing hit ups ?
Did he catch any bombs or make any try saving tackles? What was so great about his performance? He score any tries ? Asking cause I don’t know .. 😉
