I was tempted but to be honest it may have partly been superstitious. Well I started on here I should finish here. If were down by 20 I may have changed it to try my luck. Mind you if we were down it would have been a decision on who would rub it in the least.
Haha fair enough I just get frustrated with his mispronounced names and lack of understanding of the game.
I reckon a commentary team with a hype man and a analytical type gell well one of whom is and ex league player imo.

After going to a few 💙 Mighty NSW Cup games the last few years it is great seeing these guys debut and go well.

Graham-Taufa was good tonight. Some tough runs. He has great leg drive going into tackles. Watching him in 💙 Mighty NSW Cup he has been dependable. Last year I remember seeing him either score a good try or set up a great long range try in 💙 Mighty NSW Cup and commenting on the 💙 Mighty NSW Cup thread. Great first up game.

Laban we got more time into him. He was doing some good work defensively in the second half and some good runs.

We have a few guys debuting and not making a lot of mistakes like we have had in the past. I've also noticed a lot of the guys coming up are also playing the ball properly or at least if they don't get their foot on it it looks decent enough. I'll throw Zyon Maiu’u in there as well from his debut. Mind you they way he had the opposition getting smashed like ten pins he had enough time to get up and play the ball.

Was going to quote a post i made in the game day thread but tbh that just comes across as a bit of ego stroking,

Thought the turning point in that game came after the Hammer try. Felt like the Phins thought they had it wrapped up and we we're going to fold for them......they run it on the last from halfway (with that forward pass to Kodi) when they shouldve just put it in the corner.

Was clear then these guys wanted the easy win and weren't prepared to grind it out. Meanwhile our confidence grew in the grind and some of that defence to end the game was bloody mighty,

We lost a month or so ago. I think it was against Newcastle in the rain. My frustration was not putting the ball along the ground into the in goal.

Man TMM did that well tonight. I love those repeat sets.

The Dolphins were kicking deep and we'd have to get down there late in the tackle count and maybe get 1-2 plays. They ended up getting frustrated and went for a short kick towards the side line. We scored soon after.

The last two weeks shows webby's versatility as a coach. He's been criticised alot the last few weeks for the gameplan and bench selection when the results weren't forthcoming. He has clearly taken the criticism on board and addressed the shortcomings. The last two games we've seen so much added variety to the attack away from the one-dimensional play we were seeing only a short few weeks ago. That's the sign of a good coach.

I couldn't help but notice that in the lead up to the break, the first person webby was seen talking to was Kosi. He put his arm around him and probably was letting him know not to worry about the mistake he made leading up to the first try. He's definitely not first grade standard, but he certainly had a crack after that first error. That's all you could ask for from him.

I know we don't really care now, because we won, but did we score a try at the end of the first half that the NRL just ignored? If so, I think even though we won we should not let this slide. Every other team in the NRL, they at least check. Warriors.....no try.

It was good to have a home game in indigenous round. Usually we are away and end up doing something the next home game.

It came out a year or two ago that the NRL looked at indigenous round as aboriginal. Cameron George had to remind them we have indigenous people here as well. A bit insulting.

So it was great seeing the cultural stuff before the game. The stuff in Australia is good but seeing the contrast with the stuff tonight was great.

Good to see the club go all out for it.
