Was going to quote a post i made in the game day thread but tbh that just comes across as a bit of ego stroking,

Thought the turning point in that game came after the Farnsworth try. Felt like the Phins thought they had it wrapped up and we we're going to fold for them......they run it on the last from halfway (with that forward pass to Kodi) when they shouldve just put it in the corner.

Was clear then these guys wanted the easy win and weren't prepared to grind it out. Meanwhile our confidence grew in the grind and some of that defence to end the game was bloody mighty,
My take on it is that they knew the grind was our strength so they tried to win through glitzy back line moves and long range tries. Their game plan was to blitzkrieg us in the first twenty minutes and go into half time with a 20 point lead and ride that out in the 2nd half.
Where i thought they came unglued was some poor bomb defusal work leading to the CHT try and i am sorry but TMMs try was soft a fuck defence by them. Suddenly it was 16-12 instead of 16-0 and they had blown their wad already and had no energy left for the rest of the match.
My take is that they were scared of getting into the grind with us. Their much vaunted lock Max Plath got monstered by our forwards.

Just read that Addin was in the gym working his backside off on game day and was among the best trainers last Thursday when news went public. Cameron George has said that Addin has been accountable for his actions and we move on. He said we love Addin and he is a big part of this team and is committed to having a successful rest of the season for the team - NRL.com.

If Webster and the team can move on and know the smaller details around it that we don’t…. I’m sure we can all agree that we should continue to support Webster decisions and support our alpha! Let’s go! Past is past… he can only control what he does next ….as can we!

Heyzeuss! Send someone who's going to actually scare someone ;)
Give Kane respect. He in my mind created the uptutn in the Warriors three years ago by saying enough is enough to having sand kicked in our face and then results followed in the seasons afterwards. His left jab laid the foundation for our run last year.
