I don't quite get the worries about the Dogs.

Tough team for sure but extremely beatable.

We should be internally relishing the opportunity to play a team like them and not heading off to play Roosters or Storm
They look good at the minute.

Their defence is top notch, they have some momentum in belief, and they have mobility to go through/around our edges.

Sometimes I look at it more like who can expose our problems more. That's why the Titans are scarier to us than other teams despite being one of the cellar dwellers.

I think we'll be good if Webby makes some much needed changes to, and within, the 17. If not, I think they do us pretty convincingly.

Just another example of people not getting onboard with me. For a guy apparently not up to first grade standard according to some he is going ok. Te M&M and CHT are a very good halves combo. Add in Walker and Barnett as leaders on the field as well.

It's this bizarre thing.

I actually think our attack with TMM7 and CHT6 is far more dynamic than any of our halves combos last year.

Both sides of the field are being kicked to.
TMM has a great grubber kick and great mid range kick.
CHT is great at sneaking through those gaps.

All of this developed over what, six games?

The thing about the dogs is their edge forwards don't look up to NRL standard and to be honest neither do their halves (Burtons big boot aside) but they have a will to win and are happy to grind hard to a win.
Kikau says hi ;)

Sort of get what u mean tho. On paper looks like a fair bit of average in that squad. They are tho working as a team greater than the sum of their parts atm......makes them dangerous.

Chanel 11 tackles 0 missed, I reckon his reads and slide/effort at 6 makes a difference

It was a shitty pass to begin with, but you could attribute that Fletcher Baker(?) knock on to him seeing CHT lining up him up in his peripheral

Wasn't the cleanest hit, but Chanel did still did a job on him which arked the boys around em up.

Of course, some people with less common sense would try to tell you Luke Metcalf is still better defensively..

Yay for Origin. Walsh would have killed us today.

The Warriors were committed today, good energy. Yet we found it hard to pull away from a Baby’s Broncos, who are struggling this season and just 1 point above us on the ladder. Any win is great news with each club much of a muchness, but I feel like the Dogs will get us next week if this is the best we have to offer (and I’m not sure it is far off with the 17 named today).
We need some changes presently watching the NSW cup match ...certainly some players putting their hands up ....but many of the bros needs to pull their heads in with the Agro NSW 8 getting a red card from being a dick

IMHO NRL is a brutally hard comp and we need the best players from the whole club to be on the FG field every player that plays for the FG or NSW should be bloody proud of playing in that team it should be about the CLUB #1

So for me against the Bulldogs esp where we are on the table a must-win

so we must put the best FG team on the park next week ...

going off today's games ...our bench is not the best today

Tohu is a legend but needs to step back help the NSW cup boys allow more speed impact to come through ..FORD to take his bench spot at lock or even Laban(who IMHO looks like a young TOHU?? but will be out for next week? )

Jazz isn't a prop far from the best lock/2nd row I don't see his value add in FG - Bunty or ALE? to take his bench spot get a real prop to rotate AFB

Egan body catching up with him so got to have him covered Lussick least has some decent hands speed to take 20mins of time

last bench spot .. see who avaible

edges still pretty weak and I'm still not sure on RTS at centre CNK also wasn't on his usual form maybe carrying injury..

If Taine is 100% fit then I'd be putting him in FB .. then of course many options ...I'm not a fan of the creature Montoya NSW wing at best at present
so maybe CNK have a crack at the wing lest he has some speed of the mark .....

Really impressed with MTG in NSW cup and his FG match.. wouldn't complain to see him in the centres over RTS but also not stress if not... 50/50 call

otherwise, I like today's team to back it up ...

Bro. They were Last on the table….
Broncos in a bit of a slump too but begs the question for me just how we go from not being able to defend at all to only conceding 16 points this week? People will say speed but there’s some speedsters in the broncos too like the titans last week. The wet conditions would have somewhat eradicated that to a degree but there feels like there’s more to the dynamics of this team than meets the eye
