He's always said he wants to be a 7. Which I am not 100% against. He probably has a kicking game equal to CHT which puts him at number 2 amongst the halves.

Boyd is average and I would look to use him if we need to settle the team or have injuries.

Latest preseason pictures on the Warriors instagram page has one that looks like Jason Salalilo amongst the slides? Looks a bit of a unit and must be impressing. Tom Ale looking like he’s added some size too

Still a bit disappointing to not see JFH at pre-season yet. If even Barney has returned by now. But who knows, mate could just be camera shy .

Yeah I agree. JFH getting married too would make a lot of sense for the club not to put too much pressure with a massive transition shifting their lives over here. Had a laugh at an article that referenced sharks coach Fitzgibbon declaring AFB a man’s man. I thought, as opposed to what? A ladies man? Going to be interesting the impact AFB has over there, he’s definitely going to have one but I see Hynes as the problem. I think he’s either a fullback or he doesn’t have it in him to lead a team around? Perhaps Trindall halfback and Hynes five eighth might see him cope better without the halfback role?

Nothing to do with Warriors but further on Nicho Hynes. He’s come under some fire a comment in this article where he says Atkinson is a better person than footy player. Think the comment is referring to Atkinson being a good guy rather than a shit footy player but media being media has painted it sour grapes with many believing Trindall and Atkinson was a better halves pairing at sharks. He’s also apparently contacted teammates about staying together in their premiership window. Some saying well and good when you’re on a big salary

Basically wherever Addin is when in the attack zone, pass it to him. If him and Nikora are on the same side you have even more options and defence has to load to cover Addin. Oh I hate saying this about another teams strength's

Was why I posted the story regarding Hynes and wonder if some of his issues in the past could play apart in his confidence? Get the same story every year regarding him around state of origin and whether he finally steps up, so quality players are perhaps not the problem? In fairness to him, he’s been played out of position in some performances that he’s been criticised for

I get what your saying. I guess what i was trying to say is luai/turuva has started at the tigers practice, critta did the same. Both luai and critta had done a grand final and played internationals when they showed up to practice with everyone else (critta even earlier).

Now im not saying he has any has any obligation to come early like his fellow panthers have done when they changed clubs. Just that its a little disspointing at the time.

But mate obiviously had his wedding so its totally understandable.

He is a very good coach when it comes to the technique of kicking and passing and has worked with players in union and league all over the world.
