Wonder if it's Hoskins Sotutu...pulled out of the AB XV tour. Most feel he is unlucky not to be in the ABs, also has eligibility for England and Fiji from next year. Always thought he would make a decent league player.
i think with Sotutu he wants to play like an NBA player & can go awol in the real physical stuff..just my take ..is one of the most skilled No 8's iv'e ever seen though

Probably just doesn't want to be called up and given a token 5 minute bench stint to kill his eligibility.

He's got a ton of skills though. Couldn't play 80 minutes but if you're looking to develop a Tohu style lock you could do worse.

My money says he takes a big pay day in England and joins them.

The most common reason I hear for Hoskins not making AB’s is he is a lazy trainer and goes missing for big parts of games

I don’t like the Ford extension.

Not been a fan, poor hands, obstruction penalties, struggles to put the ball carrier down & Webby pegs him as an 80 minute forward.

Coach says ‘longer the game gets, the better Jacko gets!’

Says to me he is more a Valiant than a Ferrari.

Who were we bidding against here? Ford and DWZ extensions seem so unnecessary, let them play out a contract year with some extra motivation. Reward them with the $$ if they play well, if we lose them, oh well who gives a f*ck.

I like Ford but he's one of the most uncoordinated guys ever. He's runs hard but has shocking hands and loves running straight into a defender for an obstruction.

Capewell and Halasima clear him easily. Niukore, even in a down year, is better. Laban should develop to be consistently more valuable than him this season. Ieremia coming though. Where is the pathway for Ford?

He doesn't get close to my starting 17 but I would like to seem him start at prop in NSW cup and develop his game at that position. He has no future in the second row.

That’s a couple of odd extensions now.
I’d say they’re trying to create a bit of stability at the club which would be a first so can’t knock that.
Not an automatic selection for me when we’re at full strength but when is an nrl forward pack ever at full strength?
He’s coming this prime years and his versatility adds value- he’ll fill at spot somewhere in the 17 without breaking the bank.

No Walker and no Harris these signings make sense

He played fine at prop. 2nd row is open because we can get rid of Harris and Walker
