Team List Titans v Warriors - [Round 25, 2025]

NZWarriors.com

Based on players available it is the best team Webby can pick. I understand the clamour for Healy. His time will come and I guess pending on results Egan maybe rested for a game prior to the play-off. TMM versatility makes him the obvious utility on the bench.

I trust Webby judgement over any forum member unless your Criag Bellamy or Ivan in disguise.

Even the return of Berry makes sense. As CNK best position and is the best fullback in the club. Again I trust Webby on this. Taine has done ok. But hasn't made a statement to Webby to say I am the No.1 fullback.

The win against Dragons will have boosted the teams confidence. The Warriors to win by 8.

I don’t think cnk has demanded a spot… absolute plodder at centre.

Compare that to say, the Rabbitohs who have a similar situation with latrell and jye gray. Latrell still making a big impact on the game from the left centre. Cnk has been abysmal. Dunno if it’s ego or ability but would prefer taine in that side

No but with Ford out we will want his metres.

The problem for me is Webby's game plan. Obviously didn't work last time we played the Tits.
It's a good plan if you have the cattle and the conditions and the opposition are a bunch of numpties at the back. Tits obviously weren't.
Where's the creativity and the ball players
Shouldn't there be a plan B (or C, D etc?)
Yeah but you can't make a silk purse out of a Sows ear.

There is no reserve grade options that can counter strike in any meaningful (not anywhere near what the Titans can no matter who you name) and especially no replacements that can better defend the speed and width of the Titans attack.

Our best chance is to stick to the game plan, the same plan that contains the Dolphins long range strike. It does work against the ilk of the Titans, we have just never played our best version of it against them.

I know in the end we trust Webby to pick the team he judges best. I have always been confused with the purpose of this thread. Are we recommending changes or simply predicting the team he will select? (knowing that he rarely changes the makeup of the team except for player availability).
